Right now the biggest weaknesses on the team are G,Mlb,Cb. Some other spots could use some upgrading but they aren't needs. I'm hoping we draft Gurley at 14. I'm not a fan of trading down given the recent history of trading down when holding a top 15 pick. But if did trade down, I'd only trade Down to 16 because the chargers will probably take him which basically rules out a trade down. Gurley is a great RB. He has all the tools needed. Speed, Accel, Break tackles, and most importantly vision. People might say You probably said the same about Richardson, no I didn't. Richardson never had vision. He played behind a great OLine at Alabama. His stats were inflated. Gurley makes the need of a guard go down. I'm not confident in Thomas at LG, but there is no Guard I'm interested in at the 14th pick. Scherff has just risen due to bad OLine class this year in my opinion. Denzel Perryman hopefully would fall to us in the second round. He fills our MLB hole and allows Misi to move back to his real position. Although I really hope McCain beats him out for the starting spot. 4th round I would take either Ifo Ekpre Olomu or Quandre Diggs. Both very solid cbs and Olomu would have been 1st round talent if not for his injury. 5th round I'm not sure of but I would take the best guard on the board and take a flyer on him and get either Conley or Crowder. Erick Dargan is a very intriguing player. He has ballhawk skills and was a leader at Oregon. I think he could be a nice ST and future starter/role player. I'm very excited about Michael Thomas hopefully starting at safety. Other picks I wouldn't be mad about, Cooper/White/Parker/Kendricks first round. Dorsett/Marpet secound round. Thoughts?

I like Gurley and his potential, but I think he would be a luxury pick. We need another wide out with size and speed, guard, mlb and corner. Too many needs to address to take a flyer on a player that could possibly sit the majority of the season, and is rehabbing from a significant knee injury

That case could be made but I don't think Parker/White/Cooper will be there at 14. I wouldn't be mad if we took one of them but I don't think they will be there which is why I want Gurley

I like the bpa approach, but what if Schaeffer, Thompson, Waynes, or Kendricks are there...

I like the bpa approach in theory but after banging the bpa drum for years ive come to realize that my idea of bpa and the fins front office idea of bpa is probably 2 completely different players, and it leaves me disappointed a majority of the time.

Not a fan of Scherff or Waynes. Thompson is Tweener of Safety and LB so not a fan especially at 14. Would be ok with Kendricks but then we take a WR secound round and a RB later??

if RB's aren't very valuable to begin with, how can they be BPA at #14?

Say no to Gurley. Chubb was better behind the same oline. So maybe the Georgia line was just as good as the Alabama line? Trent had good vision coming out. But no work ethic. Work ethic is the only difference between Gurley and Trent. But i still wouldn't take a RB early who won't even play this season

Gurley makes the need of a guard go down.

Going to respectfully disagree. This is a passing offense. We must protect Tannehill. I'm not saying draft an OLineman in the first I'm just saying that guard is certainly a very important need and Gurley isn't the best passblocking back either. There are so many more options I'd take than Gurley @ 14 who is coming off an huge injury and a guy who won't play much. People forget we have Miller!? He is more than serviceable and we have much bigger holes to fill than to grab Gurley.... unless we trade back and pick up more picks, that is the only way I am open to the idea.

We need to upgrade every where but T, Qb, TE, DL and OLB.

You take the biggest impact at 14. Bottom line.

Good effort on just your 11th post and first thread started

i'm just looking for two starters with our first two picks be them WR , CB , LB or OL. I think Hickey will do like last year and weigh need vs BPA at one of these position in both rounds. but i also do not think Tannebaum is not done yet wheeling and dealing so there still maybe a trade of players or picks just prior to the draft and maybe again afterwards if all our needs are not met. Stay tuned it should be fun this year.

I don't want to draft a RB at 14 in 2015. Back in the 80s I could see the logic. I know people don't want to hear this but we could move back, gain a 2nd or 3rd and draft the best guard in the draft. Upgrade the oline will help everything else. Keep on mind that Albert is getting older and we don't know if he'll be ready opening day or if he'll be the same ever again so our oline is far from set. Thomas and Turner starting at guard sounds bad.

Ozzy rules!!

What separates the phins from the upper echelon teams is the lack of elite players. 1st pick should be the player with the highest chance of becoming elite. Gurley is such a player
