First option, If Brady Quinn is still there at #9...
1. Brady Quinn
2A. Justin Blalock
2B. Craig Davis
3. Michael Bush
4. A. Eric Weddle if still there B. Doug Datish C Ohio St.
6. A. DE B. S
6. A. OT B. WR
7. A. Dan Mozes C West Virginia B. OT
7. A. DT B. Gijon RobinsonTE Miss. West.
7. A. Gijon Robinson B. DT

After round 4 A's go with if we get Eric Weddle and B's go with if we get Doug Datish

what do you guys think.......

Weddle is not gonna be there in the 4th.. it has been said that he is flirting with the 1st round but is still at least a 2nd rounder. Mozes might not fall that far either but Ive seen mocks that were alot worse on here.

eh i like it but if quinn is there take him, if not draft LT Levi Brown
second round take that C from USC Kail if he is still there or WR that drops, Rice, crossing my fingers but maybe Jarrett could drop with his slow forty time and our other second round pick i would like the top CB avaivable if there is good value, 3rd round i would go with TE- Ben Patrick although he might be moving up to the 2nd round

Curious why you have us drafting 2 centers unless you are thinking we will convert one to a guard or tackle

For some reason I only see us taking Levi @ 9 is if we are out of options ... read no trading partner and Landry, Quinn, Peterson are all gone. Willis is the only other option here if forced to pick. Ginn is not happening @ 9.

Much the same as what happend with Ronnie Brown .... stuck with the pick ...

Just don't see us going DL with the 1st RD pick.

As a WVU fan what do you think of Mozes? I see that you have him as a 7th round pick, what does this guy lack? Any inside scoop?

9 I wish you would have indicate your second choices for the first day picks. As for the picks themselves:
1. I love Quinn but I don't see him falling to us at #9. If it were me, and Quinn's not there, the choice would be between OT Brown (solves biggest need) and Willis (BPA)

2 (A) If we don't go O-line at #9 then we have to go o-line with this pick. There is going to a run on O-line between between 33-40. Pick the best O-line available here. It probably will be a guard and it may well be Blaylock. I love this pick.

2 (B) There is good value at WR at #60. Davis could be the guy. If we don't go WR then we need to help our defensive backfield. 5 interceptions for a season is pathetic.

3. If the dolphins spends a first day pick on Bush, I will be very disapointed. There will be good value for safety at #70. If we go WR at #60 we have to go highest rated DB on our board here. It doesn't matter if it's a corner or a safety. Your boy Weddle may be available here. If we don't go WR at #60 we may get WR Higgins with this pick.

4. I could live with picking a centre at this spot. OT Harris from Notre Dame is slipping and would be great value here. I believe Houck could get the best out of him.

6 (A) I love safety Stone from Maine at this spot. Selecting a punter to replace Jones is also a possibility.

6 (B) If Ricky doesn't win re-instatement then a RB is a good possibility here. If not then I love versatile O-line. Maybe Santucci from Notre Dame who could play guard or centre.

7. We now have three 7's I believe. Here is where I would take a pass rushing DE, a MLB to groom for the future and a KR/PR specialist to replace Welker.

Anyone care to comment

Looks pretty good to me. I really liked the original posters mock draft (partially because some of the guys probably won't last that long though). I agree with most of your assessments as well. I feel like if we don't land Quinn somehow in round 1, I will likely be dissapointed with what we do there. As for Michael Bush, I think he would be a good pickup if we could get him in the third round. The guy was easily a first round pick before his injury and given Ricky's unpredictable nature, Bush would be a solid complement to Ronnie for the future.

I am a HUGE WVU fan. I live about 30 minutes from WVU and go to most home games. He is a great player and has all the right intangibles. They say he will be better in zone blocking schemes though. The only reason I have him lasting that long is b/c most of the scouts say he is a late rounder or FA.

Wasn't Mozes the lineman of the year? I saw him play, and I liked what I saw. I'm asking because I don't understand what his deficiencies are. His size is comparable to Kalil, and he just looked very active, very good to me. I would have thought 4th round for the guy. The way that he seems to be rated, I hope that we get him in the 6th.

Where was that said???

guys how realistic is it for us to possibly to trade down and get a extra 2nd and 4th round pick ?

if we could get a extra 2nd round and 4 th round pick i could see us drafting like this.
rd 1 ilb patrick willis
rd 2a c ryan kalil
rd 2b wr sidney rice
rd 2c if available we could get ot/c marshall yanda
rd3 rb micheal bush
rd 4a cb quincy black
rd 4b dt ryan mcbean
rd 6a a og ( b.p.a.)
rd 6b a ot or another center
rd 7 a punter
