My keys to the game for both teams

Although I believe Green Bay's run D is better than their ranking, Miami should be able to move the ball on the ground. Might be a big factor because of something you didn't mention: the South Florida heat. GB could have trouble with stamina
Tannehill might approach 300 yards but I don't see 4 TDs,(I don't know if we have ever seen that)
I can also see 3 sacks or more from the Dolphins, there are several capable rushers from multiple positions

On Green Bay's keys, hopefully the return of Misi and Jones will strengthen the Miami's run D and keep Lacey from doing too much damage. With AR, I don't think you should worry about 2 or 3, and again, the Dolphins pass rush is pretty good so if that has been a problem for the Pack, it could be a big factor. 300 yards and 4 TDs for Rodgers is very possible, we have seen it from him many times before including just two weeks ago.

The more I read up on the match-up of our offense vs the Pack's D, the more I like our chances this Sunday to put up a good amount of points. That of course comes with a big "IF", in that if we are able to execute correctly.

Green Bay's defense has struggled quite a bit vs spread/read option offenses. Dom Caper's even installed a new look this year for the Packer's 4-3 in which 5 LBs are on the field (2 @ DE) to give the defense more athleticism to rush the passer and to compete with mobile QB's. Although this new formation was almost specifically installed due to the Packer's inability to stop Colin Keapernick and Russell Wilson, we all know the abilities of T-hill to run with the ball as well. The problem in this new package (which I'm sure will only be presented at certain times) is the opposing offense's ability to run the ball with power at a much more successful rate with the RB's.

Green Bay's defense has also experienced problems with positioning and players reading proper gap assignments. This is something Lazor learned in his experience under Kelly in terms of our offenses' ability in formations to add/subtract gaps vs defenses and that should play a large part in our favor for mismatches up front.

Very interested to see how Lazor calls this game Sunday. Especially in how he sets the game tempo and how we package formations/plays in order to create an advantage over Green Bay in their ability to substitute defenders.

Hey...we are in the same position as the teams facing Marino....Marino had the inferior team usually...but his talent gave him a punchers chance of prevailing...like Monday night against the 85' Bears.

This is a game Cam Wake needs to dominate. If he is the great player we all say he is, and he doesn't show up every week. He needs to show up when we need him most, like this week against an elite qb

It's a good match up for Miami, but GB is the better team, and they have (arguably) the best player in the NFL in Rodgers. Miami will have to be patient and opportunistic on D, but they also have to hold in the RZ and get pressure with 4 rushers. While getting that pressure, though, the pass rushers must be discipline. If they're not, A. Rodgers WILL buy time with his feet, and he WILL make big plays down the field. When looking at the best D in recent years, Seattle's, and their success against elite QB's, the integrity of their pass rush is very underrated. Great QB's will find the soft spots in the pocket, but if 4 players apply a consistent push up the field, the QB has nowhere to step, can't extend plays, and have to play within the x's and o's - often checking down to a receiver within five yards of the LOS. Miami doesn't have the players to emulate Seattle's D, but any team can emulate that aspect - just as any team can emulate their tackling.

If Miami has a great game on the ground, plays well in the RZ (both sides of the ball), and limits the big plays, they have a great shot. That said, you'd have to favor GB heading into the match up.

I am really worried about our secondary against those receivers. That offense has been humming the past few weeks, they'll have a ton of support...we end this game, but I just don't see it. I think the pack are a superior team. I hope I am wrong, but I see pack 31-20. I don't think we can contain that offense for 4 quarters

I'm hoping this game turns into a QB duel where Ryan looks across the field and sees how Aaron plays the game. Runs when he sees an opening, slides and moves in the pocket and takes calculated chances. I'm hoping Ryan builds on his last game. An old school QB duel like back with Marino/Kelly days would be fun too watch.

Key to the Game for Green Bay: Arrive at SunLife Stadium in time for the 1 PM EST kickoff

Key to the Game for Miami: Make sure Green Bay does not arrive at SunLife Stadium in time for the 1 PM EST kickoff. Perhaps Miami can hypnotize Green Bay into using some Geno Smith-style time calculating techniques.

Here is my preview of the game and keys to the game for both teams.

Keys to victory for my Packers.
1. We need to get our running game going like last week against the Vikings. Lacy needs to keep grounding and pounding.
2. We need to not get ourselves in 3rd and long all the time. We need to keep it at 3rd and 3 or less.
3. We need to win the field position battle and start out at a short field.
4. Need to keep Wake and Starks away from Rodgers.
5. Rodgers needs to have a 300 yard passing day with at least 4 tds and no turnovers.

Keys to a Dolphins victory.
1. If your running game gets going on our defense that will be huge for you guys.
2. Win the TOP battle and keep Rodgers off the field.
3. Tannehill has a huge day In the air passing for over 300 yards and at least 4 tds.
4. Gotta get 7 points in the red zone and not 3 every time the Phins are down there.
5. Pressure Rodgers and force him into a couple turnovers. If the Phins sack him 3 times or more that will be huge.

There it is boys and girls! Good luck Sunday and lets GET ER Done!!

300 yards and 4TDs? Hallelujah. That might be normal for you guys but if Tannehill does it there will be some people here trying to replace the Marino statue in front of the stadium.

I certainly wouldn't mind a 300 yard/4TD performance.

- I agree with the TOP. First and foremost keep Rodgers on the sideline. That should be our first goal. Moving the sticks with the running game will be priority.
- We have to avoid stupid penalties. It would make us one dimensional.

- Tannehill does not need a 300 yard game. It is time to grow and become a game manager first. No mistakes. Go through your progressions. Hit the open receiver. Avoid negative plays. Too often Tannehill throws that little out behind the LOS to Miller while he has 2 defenders running at him. These plays always count for a 2 or 3 yard loss. Rather overthrow him and throw out of bounds (game manager). No negative plays.

- Oh, on 3rd and long (3rd and 10 and more) between the 40s don't throw those stupid 5 yard passes. Lazor should take a risk and let Tannehill go downfield. If the pass is intercepted and is beyond 40 yards in the air it would be like a punt anyways. While I rather have a completion I am less inclined to be pissed about that than I would be about a stupid 2 yard run up the middle or a quick 5 yard pass on 3rd and long. Give Wallace a chance to fight for the ball. Get more risky, open that playbook. It is time for that.

- If our running game works like in the past few games we can stay in this game as long as we keep scoring. We have to finish the majority of our drives. And by scoring I mean that I would like to see more TDs than FGs.

- On defense: stop Rodgers. He is a QB who can defeat you all by himself. In both GB losses he only scored 1 TD. In wins 3 and 4 TDs. The GB running game is not good enough to pick up the slack. Up until the last game against the Vikes they scored 2TDs and never rushed above 100yards. Do what should do with QBs like Rodgers: pressure, pressure and more pressure. Give him time and he will dissect us with surgical precision.

The game will be decided by:
- how well we put pressure on Rodgers
- how well we do in the running game
Everything else is gravy.

Two weeks of preparation and I want us to come out well prepared just once and play for 60 minutes football.

The stadium will be full with the majority of Dolfans but a good portion of Packers fans. It will be a fantastic atmosphere (I like Packers fans). The weather will be decent. Some rain and thunderstorms, mixed with sun, nice balmy 87F add a full stadium and a game with meaning for both teams: football heart what do you want more?

It is a game which will define both teams. For us it will be a marker in which direction we are going. You want to go to the playoffs you must win your home games. For the Packers it is all about keeping that little win streak alive for the next two games before they head into the Sunday Night showdown on Bourbon Street.

Prediction: I hope we can keep up with Rodgers. I am hoping for a 27-24 win with a late FG by Sturgis with time running out.
Though it could definitely go the other way.

If we get blown out like in the KC game then I must say: good night season. We may only be 2-3 but all three losses would be blowout losses (two at home) against better teams in the NFL. If we define ourselves to just beating the bottom of the NFL we are looking at maybe 2 or 3 more wins. Let's see if we are up to the task. I want to see improvement.

Our secondary is good if Kevin Coyle does not play off coverage in the first half. We play better in the 2nd half when we press.

Keys to the game

For us.....
1. Run the ball well
2. Pressure and HIT Rodgers

For Green Bay.....

1. Try to stop the run
2. Protect Rodgers

Simple.
