Okay, its 4:50, it starts pouring and I mean pouring! So I talk with the coach we are going to play against and we decide its nuts to even think about playing in an hour with the amount of rain coming down. I send an e-mail to my team and look out my kitchen window and can see nothing but a waterfall. So of course I start cursing out loud because that will end up in my basement. So I grab my Pancho and put on my bathing suit and grab my wooden ladder. I clean the front and go into the back.
It pouring out of the gutters even worse, So I'm 12 feet up cleaning it out when all of the sudden this lightning cracks with thunder at the same time real dam close and scares the *%$# out of me! I jump and land on the ladder that in turns breaks and leaves me hanging onto the gutter!
Pause:err: Don't you dare laugh!!!!!:ninja:
After what felt like 10 minutes which was most likely 2 seconds I look and let go between the pieces of my ladder!
Glad my wife was not watching because she would have killed me.
