1st-Alphonso Smith CB-Wake Forest-5-9 190lbs-A little small at 5-9, but plays much bigger then that. Good in man coverage and against the run. He also adds value as a return guy. Reminds me of Arron Glenn. His stock will be on the rise come draft day.

2ndA Larry English DE/OLB-Northern Illinois-6-3 255lbs-Excellent pass rusher to be groomed to take over for Joey Porter in the future and provide a 3rd down rusher now.

2ndB-Louis Delmas S-Western Michigan 5-11 200lbs-Will be given the opportunity to win the starting FS spot from day 1 of training camp.

3rd Ramses Barden WR-Cal Poly-6-6 227lbs-They get the big reciever they were hoping for when they signed Ernest Wilford. The Dolphins may even have to trade up a little to secure Barden's services. Kenny Britt may also be an option here.

4th Antonio Appleby ILB-Virginia-6-3 1/2 250lbs-Absolutely love this kid. He gets a bit over shadowed by Clint Sintim, but Appleby has just as much talent except for rushing the passer. He is an upgrade over Crowder or Adoyle in my opinion.

5th Sammie Hill DT-Stillman 6-4 330lbs-A big guy who can play behind Fergie for 1 year to gain some strength and experience playing against competition in the NFL. A solid small school prospect.

6th Traded for Jason Ferguson

7thA Robert Brewster OT-BAll St 6-5 310lbs-A bit of a project, but has the size with room to grow and the quickness to back up at LT. He will get a lot stronger with the way Sparano and Parcells are about lifting in OTA's and camp. Enough potential to start at RT in the future.

7thB Herb Donaldson RB-Western Illinois 5-11 225lbs-A sleeper who I really think has what it takes to play at the next level. He won't run a great 40yd dash so he falls way further then he should. Steal of the 7th round.

7thC Dane Randolph OL-Maryland 6-5 305 lbs-A prospect who intrigues you with his size and speed for a man that big. Very raw project. But hey, so was Donald Thomas and he seemed to workout pretty good until he got injured.

Smith does have really good ball skills, and if he was 6ft he'd probably be a top 10 pick. BUT, with guys like randy moss and Hardy (if he turns out to be good) in our division, we really need heigth.

and no lineman at all till the 5th? in a parcells draft? dont see it. I like the Delmas kid though too.

I just think we did well with lineman last year and now it's time to address other area's 1st. Langford, Merling, Thomas should all be better next year.

The first 4 picks are solid in your mock. I love English - not sure he'll be there, though.

There's 4-5 DB's I'd like much better than Smith at #25 (e.g. Macho Harris, DJ Moore) if we were to go DB at that spot. To me, the better value is to take the DB's available in the 2nd round and grab a LB or OL in round 1.

I just can't look past that 5'8 height on Smith . . . but no question he is a terrific CB.

Getting Delmas and English in the 2nd round would be sick.

Good, need interior OL though

I like it, only thing missing is an interior Olineman with 1 of the 1st 4 picks.
You may be assuming we get the C Brown from the ravens which would make the whole thing very good.

that many small school projects?
alphonso smith is not what we need in our backfield... we need hieght to cover the tall guys that burned us all year long

I like the Delmas pick, but can't see Ireland going with another OLB in the first day of the draft after signing Wake to a 4 year deal and giving him guaranteed money. They gave him a 2nd round pick type money.

Nah, I fully expect them to go Ron Brace at pick #44 instead of English. I'd keep Delmas at pick #57, I like that. But at pick #25, I'd see another CB like DJ Moore, unless you expect him off the board....which in that case a LB like Lauranaitis.

Not all small school projects, but yes there are a few. Look at last years draft or previous team Parcells drafted for and you will see he likes to draft small school guys for some reason.

Ex. Last years draft- Kendall Langford, Donald Thomas, Dan Carpenter, Shawn Murphy, Lex Hilliard, Jalen Parmalee all came from small schools.

where are the backers, olineman and a NT. our three biggest needs are barley covered

Ramses Barden is going to be money.

If we got him on the second day, I'll be so excited I'll probably wee a little. He'll move up quietly but quickly to mid second I think.

Fasano and Barden in the red zone would be unstoppable.

Well he did have us draft 2 LB's, 2 OL and a NT.

Just because they aren't in the first 3 rounds, doesn't me we didn't address them.

It's actually a real good mock, just I don't think Smith is the kind of CB we are looking for . . . but he may be the best cover CB in this draft. The kid has some solid ball skills, just he is very short.

Think about it, we have Ferguson and Soliai at NT, he gets us another guy we can develop behind those 2 and maybe he pans out for us and becomes the guy . . . Brace isn't a sure thing either . . . nobody is.

If we sign Carey then we just need depth on this OLine, I think we get the Bmore Center, so this draft actually would be PERFECT as far as the OLine is concerned.

We got a OLB and a ILB . . . both with starting potential, with Wake signed . . . that seems ideal.

And he gets us a starting CB a starting FS . . . . I mean its a real good mock, except I probably mock us with DJ Moore over Smith.

He also got us Barden at WR . . . the man addressed all the needs in this draft and got us quality guys. Sign Jason Brown and resign all of our guys . . . we are set.

Not bad...but I have to agree with some of the others. We have to draft an interior lineman and a defensive tackle in the early rounds. Our offensive line has to improve with it's run-blocking. We have an excellent running back corp, but we can't consistently run ball out of our base offense. Especially considering the defenses we will be facing this year, we better run the ball better if we want to have any success.

I like OL Duke Robinson, Eric Hood, Alex Mack, or Herman Johnson. DL: B.J. Raji or Ron Brace.
