My Mock 2.1 2 rounds with trades

I did this off of the top of my head before just to give it a shot, because was bored at work. Tell me your thoughts.


Buffalo trades 1st round (#8) and next years 2nd round to Tennessee for their 1 (#3)
NYJ Trade John Abraham to Oakland Raiders for a 2th round draft pick
Miami Trades 1st pick 16 to Jacksonville Jags for 1st (28) and a 2nd round
Miami Trades Ricky Williams for Indianapolis 1st (30) upon the condition if he is suspended/quits they shall receive Miami’s 2nd round pick in 2007

Assumptions:
SF resigns Peterson
Indy loses Edge to Carolina 
Ty Law is cut from the Jets (salary cap)
Alexander is resigned by Seattle but they lose Hutchinson (replaced in 2nd round)

wow, that's alot of running and gunning. I think we'd be heartbroken if we missed out on Giles by one spot. (and I'd rather have Jacobs over Croyle, but that's just me). Good job though, that must've been alot of work
 
too maddeny but i love your first rounders and at about the correct spots..i dont think Vince will drop that far regardless of who's picking and we wont pick up sinorice moss(he might not even make it to the second round) i would love him but we have other holes to fill
 
oh and if Buff picks cutler i would cry for days

If we walked out of the first two rounds with Lawson, Cromartie, Moss and Croyle I'd die of a heart attack...that being said that will not happen.

To have 4 potential starters and a bonafide gamebreaker in Moss would be incredible.

Is not that I don't like it but I doubt we'll make all those trades....but lets asume that we do make the trades....hard to believe that we'd have 4 picks in the 1st 2 rounds and yet we don't take a single o-lineman.

Nick Mangold will go before Greg Eslinger and I think that he would be a better pick for us at the 2nd spot other than Moss. WR not that huge of a need as Olineman. Then we could use Rex as a guard again. Thats my first observation
 
Good job, man. That was a creative mock, but all the moves are realistic.

Some comments from the peanut gallery.

1) I really like all the guys you targeted for the Phins. Fingers crossed :)
2) I dont think the Jets will take ANOTHER DL - That would be like 5 in six years. Even if they lost Abraham, I think they have bigger holes to fill.
3) JMO, but I dont think the Bills and Lions will give up on Losman and Harrington so quickly
4) Well done, man. Whether or not any of this happens is irrelevent. You painted a nice picture for us, and thats the fun things about Mocks.
 
Very unrealisitic IMO. Very seldom do that many trades occur on draft day. I like the first 2 picks for Miami, but not the 2nd rounder. We need a Qb, period.
