READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!READ ALL OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round One-Vernon Gholston(6'4",264,runs a 4.6)DE/OLB
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(If we go DE,I would go with Gholston because he is a better and faster pass rusher than Chris Long, plus in a 3-4 he plays better coverage than Long, and has unmeasurable speed and quickness and acceleration than Long,so I take finese over power, because Long could get burned worse than Vernon in coverage).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round Two-Dominque Rodgers Cromartie(6'2",170,runs a 4.34.45)CB
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(We lacked two good shut-down corners since Surtain and Madison,Will isn't much of a shut-down,as much as a preventer(neither Cromartie, but with good coaching he can be,he also need to get bigger and get better at tackling),and with Cromartie on the other side,we can really do some damage and maybe even INT passes for once).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round Two-Shawn Crable(6'5",240,runs a 4.6)OLB/DE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Plain and simple,Parcells doesnt pass up on his kind of players.Parcells LOVES big Line Backers, and Crable is everything Parcells dreams of.He is a tough, rought, smart, strong, aggresive player who lives to blitz and attack the passer and also has a knack for making plays beind the LOS(Line of Scrimmage).Crable is way to gifted for even Parcells to over look, and he should see that instantly by looking at his size,40 time, and his weight[they are all proto-typical for not only Parcells, but for the NFL]is good.He is a great fit for a 3-4 OLB,and guess what,we're running a 3-4).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round Three-Joe Flacco(6'6",232,runs a 4.9)QB
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Seeing how Bill didn't bring in Beck in last years draft,I don't believe he wouldn't be willing to bring in his own. With the possiblities of Beck not being the guy,Flacco could be the under-study of Beck and Bill Parcells&Co.With the winnings of "Longest Arm Toss" and "Scramble Obstacle Course" in todays NCAA ALL-STAR Skills Competition.Joe certainly put on a show for everyone, and if Miami wasn't interested in him before, they'll be now).

Or

Frank Okam(6'5",320,runs a 5.10)DT

(Perfect,Perfect size for a 3-4 defense.I will admit,he needs to get stronger, but other than that this guy would look absolutely gorgeous in our 3-4 and aqua and orange. He was at the TOP 5 DT in the draft, but he didnt perform in anything as of yet,and lost major stock. He was ranked to go in the high second round, but he was forgotten, and fell to the 3rd round consideration. If he performs well in combine, maybe he can make some noisee in the second round, but he pretty much lost the consideration of the EARLY second round. If he is gone here,Joe Flacco's a shoe-in).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round Four-Adrian Arrington(6'3",195,runs a 4.55)WR
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(I dint know about you guys, but Im sick and tired of us having little itty bitty recievers, its time for some big targets.Adrian plays way faster than he times, and runs good routes and has great hands.People compare Adrian to Pro-Bowler Larry Fitzgerald(only not as good a catcher).I dont know about you,but with comparisons like that,I would jump on that in an instant. We dont hasve a true number 2 reciever(Derek Hagen is best suited as a number 3 option, maybe 4,he is a liability, just cant snag the rock).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round Sixth-Jamar Adams(6'2",210,runs a 4.5)Safety
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(This is probably the position that needs the most depth on our roster. We were down to Allen(Will),Allen(Jason),Schultures and Daniels by the end of the season. If thats not as cry for "help", i dont know what is.Jamar is probably one of the best tackling DB's in the draft, and he runs a great speed for a safety. His coverage play isn't that good, but he can make a play with the ball. With proper coaching,he can proper surrounding cast,he can be a starter one day,has a lot of upside and has the frame and tools to get bigger and better).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round Seven-Jamie Silva(5'11",210,runs a 4.6)Safety
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Again,we need depth at this position, and with the first pick in the 7th round,Jamie is arguable the best to be there. He is a hard-hitting safety that can track down the reciever/runner.He is a Parcells guy, good motor, great strength and passion for the game, and a hard hitter, dangerous combonation. He too(speaking of Jamar),can add some much needed depth and come at a much cheaper price than Hill and Tillman would(not to mention their both old,and make money we can spred around our team in FA).Silva is looking at a possibility of exceding expectations and becoming a starter one day, that is if he can play better coverage, and try to help the corners if they get burned.Theres no concerns with his hands,as he had 14 INT's in his BC career(8 this season),and it should continue toward the NFL.I would drop Hill or Tillman(not both, cause theat would be the opposite of "depth") because we could and should save some much needed money.Guys,we need depth at safety(not to mention talent),and we should build the secondary ASAP,so next year we can focus on skill positions such as ILB(Rey M from USC,or James Lauranitius or Michael Crabtree if he comes out,we should draft or get too stacked at these positions because next year theres destined talent, and we can't get it if we have drafted one,our MLB core is okay enough to wait next season and draft Rey or James, that would be better than any one we can snag this year).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Free Agency pick-ups:

Once Again,Im Not Sayin We Sign All Of Them,Im Just Throwing Out Names...

Flozell Adams-LT(Parcells knows him,Sparano know him,Ireland knows him,why wouldnt they bring him in?).

Josh McCown-QB(I HIGHLY doubt Cleo Lemon will be here next year,so we need to go after a vert. who has proven he can come in and play exceptional if needed.I know Green wants in,but I dont think he does, and if he does, then he wont be starting, then maybe we wont go for McCown. If he doesn't thought then we will have Beck as our starter(should be,he is 27 years old,his time is against him),McCown backup and Joe Flacco as our under-study third).

D.J. Hackett OR Bernard Berrian OR Bryant Johnson-WR(we arent going to sign all of them, but should sign one of them at the very least because Ginn needs someone to occupy the opposing team while he goes deep for 6).

Terrell Suggs-DE/OLB(He is amazing. It is believed that he wants out of Baltimore because of the coaches and the contract contriversies. However,if they offer him a big contract,he might stay,if not then Miami should grabb this guy like the grabbed Joey Porter, right out of the gate.Out of any FA,i would probably want him the most, besides Asanta Samuel).

Asanta Samuel-CB(he could ask for a big contract, but if he thinks he is getting paid Champ Bailey money,he is out his rabbit(mind). If he asks anywhere from $5-7M per year, then I would sign him. But,if were taking him,we probably wont sign any other big name talents in FA,including Terrell Suggs.

Marcus Trufant-CB(this is probably the most realisticly best CB within reach of the Dolphins. He is a great CB,he isnt a superstar, but he is a playmaker, and can add some nice depth. Will Allen is 30,so his time is coming soon, and we need someone with experience to take over, and mentor and play aside Cromartie(who i see us drafting)).

Dominque Foxworth or Drayton Florence can be of consideration if Asanta and Marcus dont work out, both arent expected to stay with their current teams.

I dont like our punter in Fields....maybe he will get better, but he barely got the ball in under 20 yards of the other teams redzone...come to think of it,i never saw nor heard him do it,but i saw the stats, but they were below average and unimpressive...Jay Feely did well kicking.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know you all will crit. me because i chose Vernon Gholston over Chris Long, but I could care less because Vernon is faster than Chris, which is at his advantage if he has to play OLB and speed can really be a disruppted force rather than power....remember,you can teach power, but you cant teach speed......

Unrealistic FA.

Decent draft. Your going to get plenty of people to disagree on some of your choices.

thats why i put its unrealistic in there if u read it.....and thats why i put other low-profile options on there

if it is unrealistic... why would we want to bother reading it????

YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY READ IT,SO YOU DONT BE ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS.....

Not bad man.

I would Definately pick Chris Long ahead of Gholston just cause I think Gholston projects as an OLB...and I would NIX Flacco and go Okam...not a bad draft though

Gholston-Probably not unless he has a huge (and I mean HUGE) combine. Otherwise it's Dorsey or one of the Longs

DRC-Would love the pick, but doubt he's there. If he is, hell yes take him. The only reason he'd be there is teams might be scared off from taking a Tenn State guy in round 1.

Crable-If he's there, great pick (and I love to see Michigan men in Miami)

Flacco/Okam-Okam probably won't be here, but it's possible. Don't want a QB this early.

Arrington-Don't know where he's projected to go yet. Could be long gone by now, or could be the right spot. We'll see after the combine. (Michigan Man: Bonus Points)

Adams-I sware, Jamar is one of the hardest guys to project. A lot of people have him as a mid 2nd, and a lot have him in the 6th. Ask after the combine (Michigan Man)

Silva-Probably gone, but good pick.

not gonna touch FA since if we got all those guys we're either playing Madden w/o the salary cap, we'd be entering cap hell, or we'd be under investigation by the league for being able to afford all those guys

Flozell Adams is a turnstyle.

Like the Arrington pick as well as Okam.

I'm curious about Gholston, he seemed to dissappear in the OSU games I watched.

Like to get Ainge in the late rounds.

That might be the smallest 3-4 D-Line ever!!! How many OLB/DE do you want.(JT-T.Suggs-V.Gholston-S.Crable-Q.Moses) I'd love Gholston but only if we trade JT for some other area of need and I would hope J.Beck gets a chance so pick up Rex Grossman (who started to look pretty good before his injury) to compete and draft a ILB (B.Bell or J.Goff) with that 3rd pick. Otherwise it looks great, it's going to be a fun off season.

DUDE...I didnt say were going to pick up all those FA's....I can tell by your comment that you didn't even read the dam thing

in a 3-4:

DE>Suggs is 6'3"

DE>Gholston is 6'4"

OLB>Taylor is 6'6"

OLB>Crable is 6'5"

how is that small?????
