my mock draft pt 1

since we dont know if we can get a good qb in rd or not i have been thinking and why cant we draft these guys .

rd1 lb patrick willis is stud and is worth it and would help zach and crowder.

rd 2 a c kalil is a stud and would help us big time.

rd 2 b wr craig davis i love this kid and he has good hands.

rd 3 ot corry hilliard he is 6'4" 310 lbs and wants to be a good player and is a smart player

rd 4 og ben grubbs auburn has some haert and souls and is a good get.

rd 6 olb qunicy black new mexico is fast and is a bargin and he would help for talent and depth.

rd 6b rb paul mosley is big and is adependable character runningback.

rd 7 wr D'juan woods is not as slow as some scouts have noted and is very good blocker and has great hands, he had a bad bowl game and his numbers droped because adrian bowmans emergence as a stud wr but he is a hard worker and i he is much better then hagan and vick but i wont hate on hagan because he was arookie but i still love wood's ethics and talent
plus we need to add more wrs to compete and put some heat on ourguys anyways.

amendment to the draft

i am starting to beleive we wont be able to get our selected qbs and due to this i am starting to beleive we should keep culpepper and lemon and just bring in trent green and draft a qb next year , unless we could get kolb or edwards .

ben grubbs is 1st rd pick then what about mike elgin from Iowa ? or tanner jenkins from arkansa st.. ?

I would love the first three pick...Im so sick of reading about us drafting Alan Branch or Okoye...These guys are not worth the nineth overall pick...They say we are getting old on the DL, but history shows NT and DT can be found in the later rounds...Zach Thomas is getting old, so why not Pat Willis?? I think he is a better prospect than any of the DT/NT. I want us to go offense with our first pick, but the I will accept us taking Pat Willis or Landry, both guys who will make alot of plays at the NFL level..

wisfin i concurr and my reason for wanting patick is i think he is worth moving up for or if he is at #9 we should take him because a zach thomas doesnt come around very often and dont we have vickerson, and the wrights coming back.

i hate useing the points system because i want players on the field not points on paper.

i would not oppose us drafting qb edwards or te ben patrick as well.:cooldude:

Has not been mentioned often but I wouldnt be disappointed to see Patrick Willis selected at pick #9 if Quinn and Landry are off the board. I get the feeling Cam and Randy are looking to get some value from Zach in the next year or so, why not grab a more than suitable replacement while he is available. I understand what Zach means to this defense and to me as a fan but he will start to decline sooner than later and to be able to get a 2nd round or higher pick for him AND be able to land a premier prospect like Pat Willis to replace has to be a favorable scenario for our team.
