After extensively reviewing internet coverage this is what we do:

[Trade JT for a 2nd (2c) and 4th (4b)to Minn or Jack]

The extra 6 is a compensatory pick

1 Jake Long OT
2a Quentin Groves DE/OLB
2b Tracy Porter CB
2c Martellus Bennett TE
3 Adarius Bowman WR
4 Jonathon Goff MLB
4 Roy Scheuning G
6 Mario Uruttia WR
6 Matt Flynn QB
7 Jamie Silva S

This draft essentially fixes the oline immediatley with Fabini a FA pick-up for depth. Mormino and Schening battle for remaining guard spot.

Groves starts at opposite Porter and wears #54 and is a sack machine

Bennett gives us the redzone threat at TE and Bowman and Urrutia a coupla big targets to help Beck.

Flynn holds the clipboard and learns and the others provide depth and ST help and are groomed to start.

I'm loving it

I woul rather have Chris Long #1 and an OT with the 32nd pick i think he can get a much More talented OT in the 2nd more then you can with a DE/OLB

If I was going to draft a WR at the top of the 3rd round, it would be Jordy Nelson and not Adarius Bowman.

Matt Flynn??? Oh I hope we don't draft him before the 8th round. :foundout:

I thought our comp pick was at the end of the 7th rd. "Mr. Irrelevant"

I think Quentin Groves goes anywhere from 12-24.

i'd love shuening OG in the fourth but not gonna be there. i love bennett and goff, id switch goff and bowman though. Bowman has really dropped since he ran a 4.69 40 and goff has moved up since he did good at the combine.

i'd go :
1.Chris Long DE/OLB
2.Carl Nicks OT
2. Best CB (i Like Porter or Flowers)
2.Martellus Bennett (Or Cottom)
3. Jonathan Goff ILB
4.Adarius Bowman WR (Or a guy who falls Earl Bennett, Paul Hubbard)
4. Nick Hayden DE
5. Just shootballin here but maybe someone like Kevin O'Connell QB Sand diego State. Big QB and Very mobile, need some years to learn and develope but not bad 6th rounder (better than flynn IMO)

at 33 i think kenny philips is the pick, considering we havent really worked on the secondary this offseason.

and at 57,i think Parcells is only eyeing one LB this early, and that Shawn Crable....Shawn is too big(6'5",245) and too good of a blitzer and play maker behind the LOS,for Parcells to overlook. Not to mention he is too fast(4.6 40-time).Yea,Crable is our man here.....

Dont understand why people keep presuming that we are going to do this and that, ending up with more draft picks.

Work with what we have, not with what you think is going to happen

we need to take bennett eary second or he is as good as gone

I love it your mock except I really couldn't care less about Matt Flynn. He just doesn't have "it" granted a majority of quarterbacks don't, I just don't like him. I love love love Jamie Silva. He is the type of player we need in Miami. Keith Davis and Jamie Silva can stop the return threats in our division.(Leon Washington, Roscoe "P. Cotrane" Parrish, and that nobody from New England who took one to the house on us.) As much as we need Jake Long I am torn on trading for more picks or just taking that big corn fed son of a you know what.
