Alright I think the fins will make a trade down unless QUinn is there which I dont see happening so I'm gonna update my thoguht and my mock

We trade with the Steelers and get the 15th and 46th pick...Here we go

15-Ted Ginn Jr---->this will solidify not one but 3 positions...the guy may be raw at WR but will help a great deal as a KR/PR....great pick and great value with the trade down

alternative-Willis, Staley, Carriker

40-Ryan Kalil-I think this move makes a ton of sense bc the guy is ready to go out and anchor the line....by far the best center in the draft and this will let rex Hadnot play LG, which he is better suited to do

Alt-Staley, Grubbs, Ugoh

46 Brandon Meriweather S-Great pick...this guy can flat out play and could be the best safety in the draft in a draft where we have studs in the top.....Grant it Landry and Nelson are 1 and 2 on my list but this guy has 1st round talent and will solidify our secondary.

Alt Eric Wright, Craig Davis, Aaron Rouse

60 Drew Stanton/Kevin Kolb-Like both these guys and think the Fins do to....this will hopefully solidify the Qb position for the future and I feel both these guys will be succesful at the next level....actually leaning a bit more towards Kol the last few days

71 Aaron Sears-Projects as both a G and T...he may not be around as he may be a late 2nd round pick though

alt-Ryan harris, Doug Free, Davd Irons, Buster Davis

feel free to have your opinions...

Fine with me if Quinn isn't there. I know I would be satisfied but I really would like to see Joe Staley if possible.

i dont have any problems with that whatsoever-we would have options at 15 much needed options

mock draft are the reason for my insanity...but what else is there to do in the offseason!!!

Very solid draft if things fell that way. We're doing a 7-round mock on the Saints website. I'm drafting for the Dolphins. The toughest part has been getting value at offensive line. Through 5 rounds I still haven't been able to draft one because there has been better value at other positions. For instance the players you had....Kalil went late first and Sears went mid-late 2nd.

ROUND 1 (9) - LT Levi Brown, Penn St
Hopefully, the next Richmond Webb.

ROUND 2 (40) - QB Drew Stanton, Mich St
The perfect backup for Culpepper. And has the talent to eventually start.

ROUND 2 (60) - C Samson Satele, Hawaii
A better fit for our offense than Kalil actually. Satele will start day 1.

ROUND 3 (71) - WR Aundrae Allison, East Carolina (40-Time: 4.39)
Compares To: Santonio Holmes, Pittsburgh Steelers
He is simply a playmaker who is a threat anytime he touches the ball. Returns punts, too.

ROUND 4 (104) - CB Courtney Brown, Cal Poly (40-Time: 4.35)
Raw. But fast. 6'2" 205 lbs. Nothing but upside.

ROUND 6 (181) - RB Jackie Battle, Houston (40-Time: 4.42)
Power runner. Versatile. The perfect backup for Ronnie and Ricky. Another option would be Chris Henry from Arizona if he's still on the board.

ROUND 6 (199) - OLB Juwan Simpson, Alabama (40-Time: 4.55)
This guy was projected to go much higher, but off-the-field issues caused him to drop. Sounds like he's put it behind him. If not, there's always Rory Johnson from Mississippi, Stephen Nicholas from South Florida, Sam Olajubutu from Arkansas, or Dallas Sartz from USC.

DE Jacob Ford from Central Arkansas is another possibility. A natural pass rusher who can play either DE or OLB. Sounds like a perfect fit for our 3-4 defense.

ROUND 7 (219) - OG Kasey Studdard, Texas
Plays with aggression and passion. Mean and nasty. His father played in the NFL for 10 years. Studdard will be a starter in the NFL.

ROUND 7 (238) - SS Craig Dahl, North Dakota St (40-Time: 4.55)
Special teams standout.

Rumor has it we aren't interested in Levi Brown but rather Joe Staley first and maybe Doug Free. I wouldn't be hoping for Levi because it looks like you will be disappointed.

You might be right about Stanton but personally I like Beck and Zabransky better than him. I don't buy this thing that a QB has to be 6'5" to see over the line. Neither does Vick or Drew Brees or Brett Favre or Bob Griese etc.
Both of them had near 70% completions last year, and the both had high TD to int ratios. Zabransky with 4.5 speed is a serious run threat, and he did nothing but win his entire college career. 38-5

Gotta love that Craig Dahl. He may go higher than that. He really kicked *ss at the combine. What an athlete. What he lacked in 40 time he made up for in everything else. This guy is going to make some coach a very happy man.
