My favorite Dolphin of all-time I really think we could use Zach even at 80% of what he was in his prime. This defense needs smarter players...we've got decent leadership with Taylor, Porter, and Bell but we have a lot of guys just running around out there. Don't believe me? Why have we been wrecked by TEs the past two weeks?

There's no point.

He doesn't really do anything for us at this point in his career or in our season. It's not like him going to the Patriots or something where he could fill a hole for an injured linebacker on a team that has Super Bowl aspirations. This team will be lucky to finish around 500. Might as well stick with what you have, see who you can play or not, who belongs, develop younger guys like Wake or Roth (if he ever comes back).

Even at this point in his career he is a hell of a lot better than Ayodele. We need to cut that guy.

True, and at least Zach can tackle.

But then again he's had health issues too.

It would really be a nostalgia signing, i don't think he gives you much more.

And you're right - I'm saying this with tongue-in-cheek. If not him, then we need someone with brains behind the d-line. I'd take a smart, slower player over a fast runaround like Ayodele any day. That guy reminds me of (shiver) Aubrey Beavers.

For god sake move on from the thought of Zach Thomas. do you want to move forward or not.

I am clearly not 100% serious. I'm just saying that John Offerdahl could come out of the kitchen in one of his restaurants and play better ILB than Crowder or Ayodele.

agreed.

Couldn't be any worse the Chrowder just flat out giving up when covering Gates on a key third down! I am so sick of Chrowder tackling guys on the wrong side of the line and talking smack!

I would take back Zach any day he really is a TRUE football player. He is my favorite player other then Danny.

Yeah, Zach Thomas should come back and risk his health and future after football so that he can lead this team to . . . a 7-9 record and a possible third place finish in the division.
