My first move is trade Pouncey for a 3rd rd pick.I know it creates another hole,but the way I see it Pouncey doesnt match up well vs our division.He just cant anchor and has no strength.He admits he isnt a gym guy.His 9 mil cap hit foe a average center is crazy.With the 9 mil savings I sign Osemile [sp] he is your starting left guard and swing tackle.Then in draft 2nd rd go get Whitehair from Kansas,Alexander from LSU or Drango from Baylor all have position flexibility.Lastly with the 3rd pick from Pouncey trade get best center available J.Allen from MSU,Glasgow michigan oe Boehm from Mizzou.Ikeep Douglass as backup center and Turner as utility Backup.All of these guys offer position flexibility and woul give us a young,less expensive line.Pouncey has never shown the ability to dominate and the idea of him as a leader is crazy{free Hernandez.bullygate}

You lost me after that. No way should you trade away one of the few strengths of your OL for a gamble, especially when the rest of the line is a mess, and especially for a 3rd rounder.
 
Pouncey is a mess.I agree you dont want to create more holes but you would save alot of money his production just doesnt warrant

Reminds me of the line from the Chicago song "you don't know what you got, until it's gone."

Pouncey is one of the better centers in the league. He may be a bit immature, but the pretty doggone good at what he does. And finding a comparable center isn't easy.

You had me at "trade Pouncey". :hug2: I'm sold. I like your (o) line of thinking.

Not only is he a POS human, but he is just not good. Truth is our line has always performed better without him, especially at center. He has tells in his snaps, he's sluggish and his blocks are easily shed.

Just one example but in week 3 vs the Bills, Preston Brown tosses Pouncey's sorry ass to the side as he proceeds to make the tackle.

I never liked him from the moment we overdrafted him. He was a mediocre guard at best in college and a horrible center that couldnt even snap the ball properly and consistently. So what did we do? In typical Dolphin fashion we draft him to play center and we still have the dishonor of today in seeing him mis-snap the ball on multiple occasions causing fumbles and safeties. Get rid of the baggage Pouncey brings both on and off the field.

You are criticizing him for that play? If he had not made the block that he did, it might have gone for no gain.

Sorry SoS, but using that play as your example of reasons to get ride of Pouncey is really weak.

And there's a lot more to playing center than just blocks down field, much more so than any other OL position.

Unbelievably enough, that hole was created by Jason Fox's angle and Dallas Thomas' broad base and getting his hands on Dareus. Pouncey was allowed to reach the second level thru Buffalo's scheme, not ability, and was thrown to the side.

:bobdole: Really?! That's what you are seeing there?! Seriously?! Just because he was there doesn't make it a successful block. Anybody, and literally any body, could have occupied that space and produced the same result.

Agreed. So with Pouncey, shall we start with the snap tells, sacks given up, missed snaps, or poor technique?
 
Now I got you! We'll rehire Jason Fox, keep Dallas Thomas and get rid of Mike Pouncey NICE!!!! Hahahaha Indeed, you are not a dull boy.
 
What has Pouncey done to make him this irreplaceable entity? Our oline sucks and needs a total overhaul so lets get rid of all our trash,not just keep him cuz he is our least shi##y player.The only reason he moved to guard in 2014 was Satele was flat out outplaying him.If you cant anchor in our division vs the monster dts then hang em up
 
Let's get rid of Pouncey and rehire Samson Satele! Cause Satele can flat outplay him! NICE! Hahahaha
 
No lets give Pouncey extension because he made Pro Bowl and the hands down leader of the worst line in football. I think both your Pro Bowl status has been greatly overstated.
