My O-Line Solution...

First of all, I throw this out there to start a debate. The line was awful all night. I think too many players are in the wrong positions or are very overmatched.

LT- Long: we cannot over estimate his talent and impact he will have upon his return
LG- Pouncey: I am not upset with him. However, I want some athleticism on the edge. Take some pressure off of him come regular season.
C- Gurode: Send a late rounder to Dallas NOW and get the guy into the fold tomorrow. Vet that knows what the hell to do.
RG- Incongnito: This where he belongs from the start. Natural RG. Nasty guy. I am willing to grant another shot.
RT: Carey: He was not good last year, but not awful. Better than Columbo. Better than Murtha. There is nothing out in free agency. Should have looked at McKinnie?

Bench:
OT: Murtha: Lesser of evils compared to Columbo
OG: Garner: Disappointed he has not flashed more in games
C: Berger: Give me a smart player and experience. I had him cut last week. Not now.
* Find two more younger players across the league to try to develop

Cut:
Columbo
Jerry: So sad how he has regressed
Willis: Thought he would get more of a chance.
 
Sounds okay to me. Just dunno if Sparano will budge with Pouncey. I wish he would.
 
I really don't mind having Pouncey at Center, but we definitely need an upgrade at RG/RT..

I would sign O'Hara if I could not get Gurode in a trade within 24 hours.

i will wait to see the tape just how bad it was. there is always an overreaction IMO at first. yeah, prob played like crap, but what can u say? they looked real good last week so my impression is always left with is did they gameplan much? I am a little enthused that one chad henne, that may still wouldnt give the time of day to, is still producing while not screwing up with INT's. I think that says something.

i have a rope a dope sense about this team in preseason. I mean, does anyone really think that the pats are going to stink it up game one based on detroit game? na. preseason is weird like that.

well, i kind of disagree with the notion that pouncey needs to move to gaurd. I just do not see that happening. I also do not get why moving incog to right guard is a better move for him personally. He has always been LG since being here. You def do not want to move pouncey right now to G. That goes completely against what many have said about moving guys around. If Columbo is a problem, then Murtha is going to be the guy.

Also, in the radio broadcast, i swear they said Jerry was playing LT?????????

huh? if that is true, you know damn well they are just screwing around. yeah sparano will say that crap needs cleanup. but inside he will know this team was vanilla in attitude. These players are not getting much rest from day to day because of this offseason and one has to understand that sparano said from get go that they are preparing for new england.

this game went just like i thought it would.

I agree with a lot of what you said. However, remember this how I would fix the line not what will probably happen. I do not think they will be as sweeping in their changes. I am sure it will be Long, Incognito, Pouncey, Carey and maybe a Murtha at RT.

I feel you make some changes now.
 
I still like my solution still better than Tony's.
 
Sparano says he wants an offensive line that GELS? How about the Jersey Shore four and............this guy?! Lmao
