1st Quarter:
Where is everybody? Damn this place is empty.....well...at least it is not loud...Oh well....
Solution: My guess is that those HD screens they are intalling at seasons end will bring in more fans....and yes...I know it is sold out...but people are staying home.....I sold one of my three seats to a buddy...AND THE GUY DIDN'T SHOW UP!!!
WOW..Heath Evans is Jim Brown......
Solution: It doesn't help when we are calling slant defenses and they are running completely away from the slant...bad play calling can make a slow footed FB look like Walter Payton......
0-0...but dominating...kinda....
Solution: We left some plays out there....but I take this result....our defense seems to have their pass offense on lockdown....and Madison is playing the game of his life...so far.
2nd Quarter:
We are dominating...it is going to be fun to watch us beat these idiots 24-6...WOW...have the patriots fallen this far? They don't look much better than the Saints....injuries have taken it's toll on this team...they just can't replace ALL of these guys. Damn it...we are going for the "KILL" early...and McMike fumbles...GET A REPLAY!!..Oh...forget it..I just saw the play on the tron and he did fumble...oh well...more of that great Phins luck....No matter...it's close...but it shouldn't be...we are dominating. We look like winners and the Pats look desperate.
Solution: You know...a better team finishes off the Pats in this first half....we left alot of plays out there and Brady was trying to blow up and we didn't assist him....
HALFTIME:
Gotta get a beer....damn these lines are long..oh..there is a pats fan...let me talk to him....He tells me: "The dynasty is over..it looks like your team (the fins) will be the team to beat for a few years....we are old on defense and our O-line sucks." Sound familiar? LOL!!!!!
Solution: Kinda feels good to have all these Pats fans walking around feeling like they are getting pimp slapped.....although the score is close.
3rd Quarter:
Damn it...our running game is being shut down...we can't finish them off if we can't run....wait a minute...they are not stopping the run....we are just not RUNNING IT! OH NO...not this crap again....WOW...Chambers is making me turn on him.....TO makes that play....and that play...and of course that other play...and oh yes...he makes that catch.....Shut up already with TO! Don't mention that guy around here...philly had a pro bowl QB and he blew up there...what do you think he would do here? Very dissapointed with Chambers.
Solution: You MUST run the ball to win. There is no substitution to running the rock with a lead. Chambers just needs to catch the ball...if he can't...we need to bring in players that can make those plays.
4th Quarter:
WOW..we are the rams....just chuck it all over the field....OH NO...the fix is in again....nice phantom PA call...nice phantom Defensive Holding call...ho boy...the Pats are allowed to hold on offense again....these refs have no shame. Now they are scoring on us...we are behind....There we go....boom...boom...15-10...boom...boom....HUH? We have the lead again? WE ARE DESTINED to beat this team. BOOM...Reggie you idiot...make that play damn it.......wow...great pass...huh...WE ARE DESTINED to just blow games. HEY...they can't stop us!!...What a play WELKER!!!!! RONNIE!!!...We are going to overtime....I'd run it out of the shotgun at least once here...maybe twice....we got 4 downs.....UH...okay...they wanted to pick on the little guy....okay...they went after him again...WTF!!!!! why would you call a swing pass when they are in a man to man Defense! If Ronnie Brown breaks one tackle...the two safeties have no responsibility to a zone and would have read the play and Ronnie would have to beat three guys to score...HORRIBLE PLAY CALL. Who cares about the last play...I knew we weren't scoring there....
Solution: Full panic mode down 8...and I mean...FOUR ALARM ALL HANDS ON DECK MAN THE LIFE RAFTS PANIC MODE. Saban needs to manage games better...he needs to be able to tell Linehan: "No you clown...we are running the ball."
There is the talent on this team to win this division with a 9-7 or 10-6 record...that doesn't seem to be happening and it is not because...there is one guy that is going through some growing pains.....Nick Saban...even a rookie HC has to adjust to the NFL game....he is going through that currently...
We WILL be good.....I love our O-line...Yes...you heard right....we need another CB....and a QB.....and we can contend for a SUPER BOWL berth...NEXT YEAR....
Saban will be well adjusted to the NFL game by then.....
