Matt Roth! With an honorable mention to Ricky, but Ricky always had all-world talent, some didn't even expect Roth to make it out of camp.

What a job he did switching positions maybe 6 weeks ago and did such a stand-up job that he earned the starting job and allowed Porter to move over cushioning the Taylor impact.

Each week he has made remarkable progress. He has been blowing up running plays, particulary that 4th down against KC he drove his man 3-4 yds into the backfield right into Johnson. And just as I think, yeah but he can only bull rush, he speed rushes Stinchcomb that allowed Starks to get the sack. If only his arms where just a little longer he would have had 3 more sacks this preseason. His coverage has improved tremendously as well.

Just a outstanding job by him and I hope it continues.

mine goes to Henne.. he has faced adversity and succeeded... something to be awarded to the rookie

Mine goes to bess. Actually making the team as an undrafted rookie shows hard work and dedication.

Bess too. this years draft class did a great job, for the most part (Henne, Bess, Merling, Langford, Thomas, etc...)

They should all get an honorable mention

and poor depth at receiver, but I think he will be pretty good. Wes Besslker???

I gotta give it to Chad Henne.. QB is by far the hardest position when transitioning from College to the NFL.. And Henne has done it seamlessly. Not looking like a rookie at all, but like a very good veteran.

I don't know how anyone can't give it to Henne under the circumstances.

Gotta give it to the coaching staff and really the whole team. This team plays a lot harder then any Dolphins team we've had in awhile. The defense has a swagger and don't look like they're just going to roll over and take a beating like they did in the past. Our guys all have that on their shoulders, even the guys who just got here. Last years team looks like a group of *****s compared to this team. I'm happy with the direction our team is headed and I hope they carry over this toughness into the regular season. Even if we just win a hand full of games I'll be happy as long as they continue to play with this toughness and swagger.

Mine goes to the Front Office, for moving fast in getting Chad Pennington and give the team stability to our qb position.

Matt Roth! With an honorable mention to Ricky,.

That's nice.. But it's PRESEASON ! Teams are not gameplanning against Roth's weaknesses. Everything is Vanilla out there.....

What's gonna happen when Roth has to cover fast speedy TE's like Dustin Keller ? What's going to happen when teams attack him and gameplan putting fast tight end's on him ? I don't know about you, but that proposition doesn't look pretty.

Let's wait until then before annointing Matt Roth for anything... I would much rather annoint Langford.. Langford was drafted later than Roth, and Langford is looking 20 times better than Roth did when Roth was a rookie.

i say langford.. i like what ive seen out of him.. he and merling played all game everygame and they both made plays everywhere.. i just like langford cuz its more exciting to see a 4th round player succeed, more than it is to see a 2nd rounder succeed

Gotta give it to Wayne H for getting Bill P.

Honroable mention goes to Green Bay for mucking of the Farve situation just to prove at point...

Now we have some leaders ready to lead= in the next few years we will be at our assigned spot atop the AFC East
:woot:

All the guys mentioned have done great in the off season, it is hard to pick since there have been alot of solid offseason play. Henne has moved pretty well from college to the pro's, at the hardest position. Langford has been impressive, Bess being undrafted and getting to where he is has been great. I know he is a kicker but Carpenter has been solid too. Ricky seems to have got back to where he was years ago and has got nothing but good things said about him. Donald Thomas has been great also.
