Denham (a soon to be former WR) from the U of Utah looked okay at TE. Gilmore (TE) from Colorado St was impressive.

It will be a mistake IMO if Z. Martin is on the board and Miami doesn't draft him. I really like Ikard (OU) & Richburg (Colo St) as possible replacements for that sleaze Pouncey.

The phins need to draft 2 OL & sign 1 FA.

Hickey & Philbin need to get as many camp invitees & UFA's at OL as possible. That said, does anyone have insight on the following; Linsley (Ohio St) and/or Marcus Martin (USC)?

If we went really heavy on OL then I wouldn't mind seeing 3 of these guys drafted by us:

Zach Martin
Morgan Moses
Weston Richburg
Trai Turner
Brandon Thomas

I think that all of them would provided some T/G flexibility, and Richburg would be a nice addition at C given that Pouncey will probably be suspended for 4 games or so. He's also be a heck of a pulling Guard, very quick and athletic. Turner is a road grader, Martin is versatile and I think that Moses could play LT, RT for sure. Thomas has experience at OG and OT, so that versatility would help as well. Our oline needs all kinds of help, draft and free agency.

I'd rather sign 2 OL FA's and draft two OL but the two draftees can be in rounds 2 and 3 unless a stud is there in round 1. Otherwise I'm hoping for a offensive playmaker in round 1 like a TE

Can't see us starting 3 rookie olineman.

We could just go ahead and put tannehill on IR right now. 2 rookie olineman is a lot, 3 is no mans land.

Ireland really left our line in complete shambles.

Despite the upside of Greg Robinson I still like Jake Matthews as my top OT...we have no chance of getting him but man was he smooth in drills and it just confirmed the tape. Solid prospect.

Some guys that piqued my interest and go look for some film on are Joel Bitonio (seen some games but need to rewatch them), JaWuan James, Michael Schofield, Matt Patchan and Wesley Johnson at OT.

At Guard Xavier Su'a-Filo confirmed what I thought of him...solid pick but probably won't last till our selection in the 2nd. Brandon Thomas I thought would have looked more athletic but he's borderline to me now. Russell Bodine and Trai Turner are two guys that looked good...Bodine's short arms are a concern though.

As Center Travis Swanson looked impressive, Gabe Ikard is a guy I had interest in before and looked the part. I missed Marcus Martin and only caught a little of Weston Richburg...I'll have to go back and watch their workouts again.

All in all it's a pretty deep class and better than I had hoped given our situation. If the top 4 guys are off the board by the time we get to our pick that means some elite talent at another position has fallen to us and I'd be fine with taking Ebron, Pryor or someone else at 19 and then taking OL in the 2nd round. I think there are guys that can start day 1 that will go as late as the 4th round at OL in this draft. We didn't even get the chance to see James Hurst.

Disappointments for me were Cyrus Kouandjio, Cameron Flemming (although not rated very high), Justin Britt (another one not rated high but I was expecting more athleticism), Morgan Moses and David Yankey.

He did, and that's why we should draft multiple OL- if we draft 3 that doesn't mean that we have to start all three. We need depth as well as starters, as you say the OL is in complete shambles. I can;t think of a worse OL in the NFL as things stand now, not even close. And if the OL goes down, the team will go down with it, as it did last season.

I think the possibility of starting two rookie lineman is pretty high. I mean some of these guys are more athletic than what will be available in free agency. I think the key will be getting a LT in free agency.

I like Moses and Yankey, but I see potential problems in both. Moses is prett good in pass pro and he can lean that weigh into it in run blocking, but he just seems a little soft to me, in his body and how he plays on the field, a little too finesse, not a killer. Yankee is aggressive, has played OG and LT, solid athlete in terms of power and size, but from what I've seen his balance isn;t great, a little too close to Jonathan Martin in that regard for my liking. Better at OG than OT imo- I'm intrigued by him, but I'd rather look at Richburg, Thomas and Turner in rounds after Yankee is projected to go.

I agree and would add Antonio Richardson from Tenn. to that list. He looked super tight and heavy legged in most drills I saw him in. For a while I thought he might be someone to target if we traded back or if he fell to our 2nd pick. Unfortunately some bad news about his medicals were talked about. Charles Davis was saying that when teams dig in and find out about his medical reports, he will plummet. Said he would be lucky to get drafted. That's a huge free fall from a 1/2 grade to a day 3 pick if lucky.

The guys i like are:

Tackle: Lewan, Martin, Moses, Hurst, Henderson.
Guard: Yankey, Jackson, Su's Filo, Linder.

Lewan looks like longshot after today and Martin might rise out of range as well. In the best case I want Martin, Moses/Hurst, and Linder but Martin, Yankey/Su'a Filo, Henderson is not a bad situation either. I think we need to get a starting Guard, starting Tackle, and backup guard or tackle as well along with a FA tackle and guard to start.

It's an odd situation to be in to need 4 new starters on the oline, I don't really know what the answer is.

But I def don't see 3 rooks starting, and even developing 3 of them at he same time from the same draft class seems like a reach.

There's a difference between drafting 3 OL in the draft for a depleted OL and starting all three- we have almost zero good depth at the position. ps I like Kouandjio but I wasn't aware of the bad knee, that's not good.
