My opinion on RW

Nobody was more angry then me when Ricky quit last year and I stated I DO NOT want him back but as hard as I am trying to hate this guy when push comes to shove I can't. I just hope his desire to play again is legit. With him and Ronnie and even Lamar helping out our running game should always be fresh and the fact that Ricky and Ronnie can both catch aswell as run could really be the thing that makes our offense explosive. We have all the tools on offense now, lets just hope Saban can use them unlike DW could.

I was stunned more than angry when he retired. After thinking about it, I can see him looking back over the last year. DW made him the total focus of the offense. As Ricky saw it, the team winning or loosing was placed on his shoulders. That's not the kind of pressure somebody with Ricky's emotional instability can handle. He couldn't face another year of that kind of pressure. Yes his timing sucked. He could have been waiting to see what kind help DW was getting for him.

I blame Ricky for timing, but I blame DW for putting him in that situation in the first place.
