First let me say I think Huizinga should put it to Allen, and not sign him. Let him sit out a year, and but a stop to this for future rookies.

Second we will not get a big RB this year, beacuse Nick knows and wants Ricky next year.

I think we need Allen and should give him a 5 year deal instead of 6.I also think ricky has played his last game as a Dolphin.
 
Don't be ridiculous about Allen. Unfortunately, this is just the nature of the business. We will eventually get him in camp and he will help us at some point this year and in the future.

As for the running back situation, I agree with you. I say we pick up a Marcel Shipp or Nick Goings off the waiver wire and move forward.
 
We drafted Allen for a reason, and he needs to get his a$$ on that field.

And as far as runningbacks go, I feel we need a better backup, but if Saban doesn't get one, I would only assume it's b/c he either can't or is happy with who we have

we need allen, thats out of the question to let him sit for a year....i personally would rather go with allens deal and just sign a 5 year deal, but i do agree that rookies shouldnt come in the league a demand anything because the league doesnt owe them nething
 
their working on this now, and in the near future it will be done. Soon, rookies will have a set amount of what they can sign for at each pick. As in the players will know exactly the contract their getting from the second they get drafted. or atleast the first rounders will.
 
I think it's funny when people suggest that Allen just sits out the whole year. So you are taking away our only pick of the first 2 rounds? That would probably be a pretty good idea. (sarcasm) Allen is going to play so let's stop suggesting that he sit out all year.

ok we qare going to sick chris for a year and jason allen will be most likely held for the season dudes being a little baby
 
This is probably one of the same people that cry when someone wants to trade a draft pick to acquire a proven vet, but now wants to just completely throw away this year's first round pick over a hold out that hasn't even gone a week yet.......... :shakeno:
