First of all let me start by saying I am one of the most excited fans in regards to what has happened with the FA singings. As a matter of fact I was up late last night and early this morning browsing the internet to see what presents we would receive.
As many post on here are excited about the transactions there does seem to be some concerns. These concerns are valid in regards to what parts we are rebuilding and why leaving out other parts of the team. Any time you build a football team you do it in phases. The Giants showed us how a great defense can win Championships, so that's what we are doing here.
First off you need to build the defensive line and LB core. We had a league high in rushing allowed last year. If you look at what Bill Parcells and Company have done, they have gone put and gotten young up and comers that can play for a while. They may just be servicible for the longterm while we locked them up for an avg. of 4 years. With the cap monies escalating over the next few years this IMO was genius.
The second part that eveyone has been wondering about is why we aren't active in the secondary and offensive line. In the 3 step process we are looking at that within the next few days weeks. Bill has shown us how to strike quickly like a Cobra with moves calcuated and precise. As reported we are looking at McCree tomorrow and the next few days. There will be more Secondary help released from other teams and we are in the envible position to snag them because our cap is in great position as well as potentiol trades.
Part three, we will look at the offensive line a pull in some solid players while they may be reserves or starters, BILL AGAIN HAS A PLAN. We will be looking at the younger backups that will be tomorrows stars. Again we will address all of these areas soon enough, so we can all breath a sigh of relief and be happpy we have real FOOTBALL PRO'S running this team. T
