:dolphins: I've gone back and frth with this for a while and tried to research alot of the coaches.....at first glance i liked Cam Cameron.....but that team was already talented and having LT can make anyone look better than they "might" be. Stoops is another name talked about but I don't want to dive into college coaches again....feel its too risky also....Ron Rivera is my second pick cause he's a disciple of Smith and is just sick.....he could make this defense even sicker and with a good OC we can turn things around.....but then I asked myself this: for years now what has plagued the Miami Dolphins? What has been the reason why we haven't been able to win. Johnson, Wannstache, and Saban have all been defensive coaches and the offensive side of the ball has always played second fiddle.....I love our defense and although we're getting older I feel we have some youth in there also.....Sure losing JT and Zach in the next few (hopefully not this year) will suck but we have good depth and young players that can step up.....So.....my pick for our new HC is......drummmrrrroooolllllll.......Mr. Norm Chow....and here's why.....first off the man is just sick at teaching the most important position on the football field which is the QB....and that's what has plagued us all along.....I feel he will be able to get Culppepper back to MVP type #'s.....Second....his team is out of the playoffs and he could be had very quickly....more time=more preparation=more success
That man made Vince Young the ROY and revitalized Travis Henry's career....Cpep is an older Vince and can get back to his days.....Het Chow down here and lets get this rolling....you wanted advice Huizenga here it is

Good points, it seems that the only thing going against Chow is his age. I much rather get somebody younger who will stay with us for a while.

that doesnt really affect my decision too much......born 1846...he's 60....he has atleast 5 good years left and im sure he's always wanted to be a HC

I don't even know where to start looking for coaches but i guess Chow would be one of the first i would interview. I personally like Cam Cameron or Ron Rivera.

Cam Cameron scares me a bit cause of that offense already....and Rivera is a defensive coach......I'd like any of those three to be honest but Chow would be my first choice

Just heard about the Cowher talk......that intrigues and Martz is another....wow there are more candidates than I originally thought.....just get it donw so we can begin talking great again...lol

I'd like so see Norm Chow. We could "Chow-down", or it could be "Chow Time".

Im all for Norm Chow. We need to stop thinking about guys like Pete Carroll or any other big name college coach. I just heard on NFL Network (shefter) that Huizenga is looking and putting out big money for these guys. I say no no no no no! Huizenga is not getting it.

Norm Chow please!

If your gonna hire an older coach you might as well hire an experienced coach, not one that's never held a head coaching job in the NFL before. If we go older we should try and get the Tuna at least he will have this franchise heading in the right direction when he leaves.

I'd like to see a fresh direction, Chow might work, but as HC only. I want a good personnel guy at GM with a track record of good picks & F/A aquisitions. One problem with giving one guy all the power is that when he leaves, you have to get someone in place before free agency & the draft.

1st post here, I must say the norm chow idea is not a good one. nor pete carrol the name I have not seen on any list is the D-cord. from the ravens Rex Ryan. I know that we want to see some offense and maybe just maybe the new coach will let MM use his plays and not Lineahans offense. after all MM made Kordell stewart somewhat of a supersatr in his offense as well as Hines Ward. just some random thoughts from my own Black Hole.

that doesnt really affect my decision too much......born 1846...he's 60....he has atleast 5 good years left and im sure he's always wanted to be a HC

 Wow, he looks great for his age!

and id like to say this....if we can get parcells then im all for that......and even cowher but for me those are long shots....from the guys i talked about chow is my #1
