1)After the team went down 24-6, the defense played OUTSTANDING. Kudos to them.

2)Henne sure can make some impressive plays. Lets just hope he dosent continue to be Jay Cutler. The guy MUST learn from mistakes. You just cant have the kind of killer mistake plays he made today.

3)Randy Starks again.

4)The entire front 7 was AWESOME today IMHO. The only time the defense really let us down was a couple of mistakes by our young secondary. The team played pretty well against Chris Johnson aside from that one drive where he almost gashed us for a long TD on like 4 different carries.

5) Wilson made an incredible play keeping that INT alive on the first series of the game for Vontae.

6) Culver made an incredible play to get away from that blocker on that screen pass and made a beautiful open field tackle on Chris Johnson to save a TD. Nice job bro. Impressive the way he spun and rolled away from that block and then cut down Johnson.

7) Dan Carpenter was money again. Although, I had the strongest kick of the day following that Henne INT on the attempt to Ricky in the corner of the endzone. A cardboard box that was sitting up against the sliding glass door that goes to the porch was destroyed by my right foot. Problem is I didnt realize it was still loaded with styrofoam and that combined with it being against the door resulted in a broken toe for me. Tremendous kick though.

8) Jason Taylor was outstanding all day long.

9) Brian Hartline is becoming my favorite player on the team

10) Cant say enough about the resilency of this team sometimes. They do make me proud to be a fan.

I may have missed a guy or two but, thats all I have right now.

And for as much grief as he gets around here, Im thinking Pasqualoni is doing a pretty decent job. Just MHO.

No one else was impressed with that incredible TD saving play made by Culver? Do you guys not realize how difficult that was to do in that spot? That was one of the finest defensive efforts by an individual player I have seen all season on that play.

eh. i stopped reading after the 'wilson made an incredible play' part.

Positives: If we avoid the NFL's toughest schedule, and avoid injuries to starting QB, RB, NT, CB, then we should win 10+ games next year.

Did you see that play? That was brilliant by Wilson. He purposely batted that ball in the air off a volley knowing that if he catches it he cant stay in bounds to get the INT.

Not only that, it was a damn fine volley to get it right into Vontae's hands. That play was not luck. It was one of the finest plays all season. Give the man credit. That was heads up all the way around and great execution.

Watch the games lately. For as poorly as Wilson played in the beginning of the year, he is starting to play pretty well. Try and notice.

That play was every bit as nice as knocking a punt back into the field while diving into the endzone to get it downed inside the 5. However, it was more difficult considering he had to bat the ball to an area where Vontae could catch it as opposed to just keeping it from going into the endzone like on a punt.

i saw it. it was okay. but i also saw him get beat yet again and not even bother to prevent a touchdown. i'm beyond passed giving him credit for anything. i can't figure out why he's still starting at FS to save my life. i give more credit to crowder for the INT anyways.

good post. i agree on all points, hell even crowder made a couple of nice plays today both in coverage, and against the run.

yeah the team turned the ball over, and were penalized all day long, but im proud of that effort, they never gave up.

as for the season, its not over yet, were still in it. lets support this team, and see what happens.

I agree there are a lot of positives today. All and all we held Johnson in check, if you would tell me he avg 3.8 a carry and no TD's I would have thought we win easily. The problem we are having with our secondary is when they get it wrong they get it wrong BAD! Look at Wilson, he actually had good coverage on that play, but he failed to get his head around. Vontae had good coverage, but he stumbled twice for 2 td's. Hell we held Young to about 50% passing! Once Miami limits the big plays we will win a ton of games!

This team has to make you proud because they never give up. Let's face it, we gave the game away with the turnovers and lack of production in the red zone. We are playing with 2 rookie corners, and they are giving up the big plays. Vontae Davis has to work on his footwork and stop stumbling as the ball is dropping in. If he keeps his feet he is good postion and can make plays on those balls. Next year I expect this team to make some serious noise.

we simply arent good enough to overcome the turnovers period.
