Defence 4-3

RE-Taylor- A monster, A top three end in the league. As dynamic a player as there is in the NFL.

DT- Chester- He's a giant block of stone with a mean streak. Coming back from knee surgery.

DT- Kevin Carter- An accomplished pass rusher who can play at either 4-3 or 3-4. Will be a monster in the middle.

DE- Holliday- Hoping to rejuvinate his career and become the pass rushing end he once was at Green Bay before all his injuries.

MLB-Thomas- It's going to be interesting to see how he fits into Saban's offence. Is as good a linebacker there is in the NFL. Undersized but produces every year.

OLB- Seau- Savvy vet who's going to the hall of fame.

OLB- Crowder- Knee injuries dropped his stock, but when healthy he's vicious. The steal of the draft.

CB-Madison- Played very sound last year. Played well but flew under the radar because of surtain. Was frustrated because he didn't get any interceptions.

CB- Howard- Played poorly in his first season as a fin after getting a big payday. We aren't paying him to sit on the bench. Has a ton of talent but has to learn how to use it.

FS- TBD- Would've been Tillman but he's injured. I think Schulters will be here as soon as we can sign him.

SS- Jones- Hoping that a move back to strong safety will reduce coverage errors. Has a TON of talent and is a Major upgrade over SLow SAMMY.

PUNTER- Turk- The leg is on the decline, but still get's rid of it quick. Good holder, too.

KR/PR- WELKER- should have made the PRO BOWL. A FAN fav and future star.

I would appreciate some feed back thanx guys. CHRIS :D

Im worried about our defensive backfield. Schulters would be welcome in my book cos we need him badly. Shame about Poole being gone for the season and im looking to see what Daniels can do. Seau im hoping will be injury free, if he isnt im not sure who will step in. Bell may have a good season if he can get a shot at starting at Safety. Hope our defensive front can keep the opposition QB's busy cos im not sold on our DB's.

Yeah that was my only question ? but Crowder's got ton's of talent and upside.

Yeah look out for Daniels. he has more quickness than pure speed, will get a shot at nickel, but could be a safety Bell is good as well but all the injuries...

i would move carter to holliday's spot and put traylor next to chester(if healthy, does anyone know his status?). holliday and roth come in off the bench. in passing situations the line would be taylor, holliday, carter, roth.

i think spragan takes crowders spot, although it would be nice if crowder could start and be as good as advertised.

i also agree with howard at the other cb spot. hopefully edwards stays away from starting, he would be better at 4 possibly 3 in crunch. daniels should handle 3.

it would be nice to see shulters sign to be our safety but if not i would like to see bell start there.

also a note on madison: i seen on another message board that madison actually had the best overall statistics in the league.

Sammy is much better than Jones. They're about the same speed, both pretty bad in coverage, but Sammy has only played 1 year longer and has 35 INTs well Jones has only 6 INTs in 7 years.

A little homerish in assessing strength of positions, but pretty good. I think Daniels and Spragan sill start over Howard and Crowder. Crowder is a year away and Howard is a year away from a pink slip.

I think u may be suprised with Crowder. Hes got 2 certain LB's to learn from called Zach Thomas and Junior Seau. Can u think of anybody else u wanna learn the position? Crowder IMO will make an impact before the end of season.

I think that Daniels will start at the #2 CB spot and Crowder will have a starting job by the end of the season. the biggest question is whether or not Chester retires and if he doesn't then the question is if he can play or will he be too injured
