This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands.

I was actually thinking about who will be our future starters on both sides of the ball in the coming years. Some of my predictions could be a little bit of a... reach. But I believe it is reasonable. Of course, some stay, and some go.

Offense:

QB - Daunte Culpepper
RB - Ronnie Brown/Kay-Jay Harris (H&R Block) or Ronnie Brown/Gerald Riggs Jr. (The New RnR)
FB - Kyle Eckel
TE - Randy McMichael
WR1 - Chris Chambers
WR2 - Derek Hagan
WR3 - Wes Welker
LT - Anthony Alabi or Vernon Carey
LG - Joe Toledo
C - Rex Hadnot
RG - Joe Berger
RT - Vernon Carey or Anthony Alabi

Defense:

DL (4-3) - Matt Roth (LE), Manuel Wright (NT), Rodrique Wright (DT), (Wild Card special) Ben Ishola (OE)

LB (4-3) - Derrick Pope (WLB), Channing Crowder (MLB), 2006 Supplemental Draft pick (SLB)

DL (3-4) - Matt Roth (LE), Manuel Wright (NT), Rodrique Wright (RE)

LB (3-4) - Ben Ishola (OLB), Derrick Pope (ILB), Channing Crowder ("quarterbacking" ILB), Supplemental Draft pick (OLB)

Free "Left" Safety - Jason Allen
Strong "Right" Safety - Yeremiah Bell
CB - Travis Daniels
CB - Will Poole
Nickelback - Shirdonya Mitchell

KR - Kelly Campbell
PR - Wes Welker

K - Olindo Mare (if he doesn't retire in the next few years)
P - Donnie "Hello Roscoe!" Jones
LS - John Denney

It's pretty realistic everywhere except for maybe the 2 supplemental draft picks. It'll be very rare if we chose 2 more supp. draft guys in the next couple of years

Oh okay. But it's not two supplemental picks. It's my way of saying whoever we pick will be able to play in the 3-4 as well as the 4-3.

If this works out the way you (and I) think it will we will be a contender for the rest of this decade.:cooldude: :cooldude:

More like milenium(sp?), u gotta think big!!!!

And like is nick saban and company skipping the nfl draft for the next few years or somthin? do we not plan on getting any free agents?

you cant predict the starters in a few years from now if you dont involve free agents and draft people

Where's Booker?

Edit: And McMike?

For booker, I was thinking that in a few years he might retire.

As for McMichael..... dumb mistake on my part. Editing...

Ok. I can see booker retiring in a few years too.

Next question, what about Wes as 3rd WR?

I was only posting starters.... but I guess since I put nickelback....

gimme a minute to edit that...

Being honest and objective, if thats ever the starting defense it'll be the worst in the league and prob the worst in frachise history. Some good parts but collectively not so much.

Exactly how far out are you talking about? I sure hope you are wrong. We have signed Shelton for 4 years and Will Allen for 4 years. JT and ZT have a couple of good years left in them. If you are projecting more than 4 years then I pray we are able to bring in some updrades via free agency. Furthermore, if you are right then it means our upcoming drafts outside of this years supplemental draft will be a complete waste.
