Well Dolphin fans, we find ourselves in a situation very similar to last year. Last year, we were 6-5 with 5 games left, and our playoff chances rested on those last 5 games. We ended up winning 5 straight and winning the division capping off what was honestly an amazing and memorable season. Well now we are 5-5 and we have 6 games to go, so what will happen in these last 6 games? This is what I think...

@Buffalo Bills- W (Interim coach, mess of an offense, I think we run it down their throats all game and pull away with a big convincing win)

NE Patriots- W (Sunday night game at home that I believe well be playing for the division lead, and I do not think we disappoint, we beat these guys at least once almost every year and I dont think that stops here)

@Jacksonville Jags- L (Going to be a tough game on the road against a very good run offense with a tough defense, I think we lose a close one)

@Tennessee Titans-W (Going to be tough to stop their run game, but I think we gash their defense with Ricky and I think we win a close game to get to 8-6 and keep our playoff hopes alive)

Houston Texans-L (Pains me to say it but we still wont be able to beat this team, they are our worst nightmare as they will dominate our secondary)

Pittsburgh Steelers-W (Need a win and some major help to get into playoffs, we get the win but dont get the help and finish 9-7)

I think we finish 9-7 and cap off a tough season where we battled long and hard and had to use alot of replacements because of big injuries. This season however will not be looked at as a failure by any means but rather it showed this teams fight and it was an evalution process for this team.

I think we have a very good off-season where we finally get a true 1 WR, and next year we will be one of the top teams in the AFC.

LETS GO DOLPHINS!!!!!

Sounds about right... But I hope your wrong

I agree, momentum will start building if we can handly
beat The Bills soundly and then anything can happen.
Hopefully a 10- 6 record will get us in.
Texans game will be the difference IMO.

big thing with Houston is that Owen Daniels is out for the year, and the athletic TEs are what killed us. I think we can beat them (especially with Houston's run game struggling so much).

Jacksonville? I dunno. MJD is a great rb, but they have a very lackluster passing offense and the pass defense has struggled as well.

I do not see us losing to the Jags. Their best CB and probably their best defensive player, Mathis, is out for 3-4 weeks, so most likely out against Miami. On offense they only go as far their running game takes them, and our run d is solid.

I think we win against Buffalo, Jacksonville, and Tenn. Our season comes down to how we do against very tough games against New England, Houston, and Pittsburgh. The nice thing is they are all home games.

With Fergy out for the season, it will take awhile before I can say we are still good against the run... Fergy was the run defense!!!

you are spot on about fergy he makes us a better team on defense

Jason is a huge part of our run defense, as he can take up two lineman, so it is like us playing a 4-4, instead of a 3-4. We do have other huge guys that can get penetration. Roth is a natural DE, and we can send Starks or Langford inside. When Jason did not play against NE we looked bad against the run, but at the same time it was NE, who requires the D to focus on the passing game, so we are not sure how bad or good we will be against a running team with out Jason. We also were missing Crowder, our starting MLB in that game. Jason played against Carolina and we looked the worst we have all season against the run, so who knows. When a team is this good against the run as we have been this season it can not be just one guy.

I'm actually not worried about any of those teams except the pats. Pittsburgh was exposed yesterday. I bet their missing polamalu real bad now. Houston and Jacksonville are 1 dimensional teams on offense. One is pass heavy, the other is run heavy. The same goes for Tennessee being run heavy. If our defense makes just 2-3 stops resulting in a punt, I think we have the edge on all those games. The Pats are the most balanced team remaining on our schedule.

Very well thought out 21. I would be in total agreement but did you already know Ferg was done for year when you initially did it? Anyteam with a decent runnning game will be a loss unless help is on the way at NT. I'm just not sold that Solaia can handle the load in the middle.

Beating the Pats and Bills would be huge and is pretty much the key to our success. Any team that goes 5-1 in the division should really win it, let alone get a wildcard spot.

These next two games will make or break the season.

jags are not nearly as good as their record. i will be at this game. its been a long time since i went to a fins game and they lost.

I'll be rooting my *** off, but I don't see winning against the Patriots. We don't have the firepower on offense right now and we need a way better secondary to keep it close.

we'll beat the Bills, but we'll need someone to knock off the Pats for us. The other games are hard to predict at this point. We have a ton of guys out. Titans and Jags are player much better and we always have trouble with the Texans. I'm not sure what to make of the Steelers after losing at KC yesterday.

The Titans game might be the one that scares me the most. For one they are on a role, they also have the NFL's leading rusher who is also maybe the fastest player in the NFL and a very good reciever as well. Who exactly is going to cover CJ out of the backfield? Not to mention Vince Young..... VY might not be the greatest QB from a passing standpoint but he Can get the job done there and we have had trouble with mobile QB's in the past so going against VY isn't something I'd look forward to. Not to mention they have some pretty athletic TE's which we all know Miami's D can't cover.
