Marion did make the pro bowl, so I wouldn't mind seeing him stay. Yea, he gets burnt occassionally but he makes more good plays than bad. Freeman just didn't impress the year he started. If Nails can return to his '02 form it would make a big difference on the O-line. Nails looked like he was in slow motion most of last year.

It takes two years to recover from that type of injury. Ask Jamal Lewis. He seemed to be back in form after a very average or worse '02:eek:

Freeman was dissapointing in 2002; but I think he was simply playing out of position. He is not the bruising run stopping type safety you need at the SS position, he is suited better to roam free and use his speed at the FS slot. That's why I won't be shedding any tears if Marion hits the road.

Who puts Morlon Greenwood on a dream roster? The guy is consistent and does his job, but makes no big plays or crunching hits.
No Possible Way - Madison
Whoever posted that Madison would be cut and replaced by Alphonso Roundtree of Kory Banks is WAY off the mark. There is NO WAY that would happen. Those two would be 4th or 5th corners at best if either of them even make the roster. Madison may have lost a step but he is still in the upper echelon of players at his position. It will also cost big $$ to just release him. He has much more value as the starter with a restructured contract than as additinla dead money with all the othr moves we need to accomplish.
