my proposal for "shaking things up"

Why would we do that? Hagan is a rookie and no where near ready to see regular time. Chambers is a great reciever, Booker is a solid vet, and Wes Welker is just phenomenal in everything he does IMO. Nothing personal, but that would be a bad idea.

UMMM exactly correct. WW may be our MVP thus far.

agreed that Wes is the only wideout doing anything....The point is Booker (although solid and dependable) isn't necessarily fearsome to opposing DB's.

Wes could probably wear himself out by doing ST duties and playing wideout so why not put in Hagan and make Wes that much more "effective" or dangerous fielding punts and/or kick returns????

Hagan has the size and the "underrated" speed to do something.

JUST ANOTHER TOPIC TO TALK ABOUT SINCE OUR O-LINE IS MAKING ME SICK TO MY STOMACH LOL LOL!!!

Why would you do that? Is there evidence that the WR's are not getting open? Why would you punish Booker? And, why would you put Hagans above Welker, when Welker has been playing great as a #3?

From what I've seen, the WR's are getting open quite often. The problem has been that the passes have often been inaccurate or the ball has been held onto too long, or Daunte goes to the wrong WR, when another is open, or the O-Line doesn't hold up.

Why not bench Zach and JT as a result of poor play by the secondary?

The flaw on this team is twofold right now.

1) Above and beyond anything else - the O-line has played horrifically. First, they are rarely opening holes in the running game. Second, they get their fat butts shoved back into the backfield regularly on pass rushes - that is, if they haven't completely whiffed on a block! In part, this contributes to the second problem:

2) Daunte is not throwing with confidence, authority and good timing. He's also struggling with when to throw, when to scramble, etc. He's just very uncomfortable in the pocket. There's no doubt that Culpepper can play much better than he has. Whether he will or not - we'll find out. But, he seems to be struggling with a) where to throw it; b) when to throw it; c) throwing with authority; and d) standing in the pocket with poise.

Not punishing BOOK or anyone else for that matter

I had a "TO" moment and was incoherent about my ranting DUE TO THE OFFENSIVE LINE LOOKING AWFUL!!!

Nice, i think this nailed it.

We have alo of problems, but recievers is no one of them. Chambers, Booker and especially Welker have played awesome.

Simply put in Hagan as our #2 or #3 wideout....

WHAT'S THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN????

CC needs to step it up or maybe our #2 needs to step it up

why not fix what is broken first...the o-line?

Yea I wouldn't even consider messing with the WR's until I see improvement on that line. When that happens, things will start to improve overall as a team.

we'd be better off tinkering with the offensive line... Booker isnt hurting us.

I feel like booker looks as good as ever. Why not fit Dmac somewhere on the line or give jason allen some time why were playing the rums of the league.
