i think with this team we can be 8-8 or 9-7 at best.

I think next season we should draft a o-line in the 1st round proably 13 of 15 overall.

We should also pick up a good receiver in the 2nd round. b/c Chambers will never be a #1 receiver.

We should try to get something for Booker or Boston. Both are good but will never be #1's and we have Welker and Chambers who are great # 2 and 3 receivers.

We should also try to get something for either Morris or Minor. We dont need 2 #2 RB playing the 3rd spot.

I think we're good at O-line because i think Houck will make them improve and with an additional #1 player we will be great.

We should also look to get something for either Carter, Traylor, Zgoniga. They are great players but there old as dust. We should draft sumone lae who will be ready a few years from now.

not of those players we need to get rid of now but it would better to be able to get somthing out of them before they are not worth anything.

Interesting ideas... but I am not one who likes the ideas of taking out the positive points in your team to hopefully fill them in with the draft. The draft is a crap shoot... we already have 7 picks a year, a few trades here and there increase that, but I see no reason to get rid of our strengths (RB, WR, DL).

Fist of all i am not giving up on our team because i love the dolphins more then some of my own relatives. Second I cannot beleive that the mods banned merc 40 and are now about to allow the flood gate of insanity open wide and cause such pandamonium that would make wayne say " if you guys dont stop this i will turn this team around and bring back dave and rick."
look it is just one loss people ; I have been having a lousy two consecutive two year strecth so IT COULD BE THAT MOST OF YOU WERE EXPECTING WAY TOO MUCH FROM THIS TEAM. and yes i am yelling i have bled for this organization and i will not allow any knucklehead or a group of nitwitts destroy my team. i have kept this bottled up for a day or two but gosh darn it its nicks first yearand dave and rick are the reasons for this so just sit back turn on the radio and listen to some pink floyd and chill.

I agree with some of what you said......I wouldn't get rid of Traylor though, I would however draft another DT to keep our DL fresh.

WOW man, I agree whole heartidly, but damn... calm down. You can't let people get under your skin that way. I think you may have responded to the wrong post, I don't read that anyone is a bust in what's been said, just that we have a lot of GOOD players but not many GREAT players and we need to do what we can to get a few GREAT players on our GREAT team.
 
look, I say we do need to get rid of a few of the older high $$ low productivity players, but addressing the cause is more important than getting a second or third round pick for a player who may not be producing for a fixable reason.

Kind of like fixing a car. If you only replace the broken part, but not the reason that broke it, it will just break again nomatter how much you pay for the replacement part.

Chambers needs to be used almost exlusively in the slot and put in motion, that's where he excels. He can't beat the jam at the line very well. THe only coach that really used him correctly was beleive it or not Wanny two years ago. THey need to design plays to get the ball in Bostons hands on screen plays and short picks to put him one on one with smaller cornerbacks, he can break the one tackle with his size and strength and be gone. Booker is a great over the middle and possession receiver he needs to be used to find wholes in zones and help move the chains. But if you try to use players where they can't reach their peak then of course they will look like busts. GIve saban a little time to try players in different positions and let him find out what works. I have confidence he will fine the right niche for all the players and when he does and they all have the chance to preform to their potential look out, with linehan and the players we have you could see and offense like KC, or Indy before too long.
 
yeah i didnt say we were gong to be bad this season but we wont be a 10-6 team for sure

your opinion counts hopefully more than mine does and.... youre somewhat of a visionary yet way ahead of our times.
