As i was listening to the clown on espn Johnanthan Kincaid I was thinking to myself , why is it that Miami has the only franchizes that there are no players or former players that are host of a radio show at espn ?

the Marlins even when they win never get talked about. The heat which i loved watching wins a championship and people snubb this team.

the Dolphins never get the same airtime as the jets , bills and pats. our afc rivials have several former players on the air at espn and fox sports.
so the question here is why are there no former phin or heat players in the national media ?

its really getting unbearable to listen to sports shows because of all the homers for the other teams.

my next question is , which former heat or dolphin player would be great at having a radio show ?

last , in my area the jets bills and patriots out number the number of dolphin fans that call in by 25 -1 ratio . this has left me to wonder why dont Dolphin and heat fans call in more often ?

side note
I wasnt sure which forum these types of threads go in so please move it to where it needs to be in .

Dan Marino is the only national outlet for the phins..and that's only during football season... I'm not sure why former players haven't been appealing to the National daily sports media.. then again, I'm not sure if the players have persued that outlet either..so it's hard to say..

Timmy Hardaway tried that route......and we all know how that turned out for him......

don't forget orestes destrade he is on baseball tonight

as far as heat players i would like crotty to have his own show he has been guest stars on various radio shows and he does a good job, he has been on with le batard, rose, mandich, sedano

i Wished O.J. McDuffie would get on at Espn I am so sick of the pats and jet homers shoving that stuff down our throats.

nick bonicotti was on inside the nfl for years.

Bob Griese is in the national media but it's college football games so the Dolphins don't usually come up

Mike Golic and Ron Jaworski also played for the phins albeit in the twilight of their careers.

Theisman was also drafted by the phins.

Some time in the not so distant future I think you'll see JT behind a mic.

I forgot about jaws and golic . those two guys are ok . I just cant stand Freddie Coleman and john stachoure spelling ?

I do listen to Bob Griese and always wants college to better proect the qbs at that level.

I think Sam Madison would be good at espn.

Wasn't Csonka the host of American Gladiators.
