the potential for this team lies in a new offense and a more qb friendly system...if those 2 things go awry its gonna get real ugly around here...this team needs to start fast for once

until i see this new offense this thing has 6-10 7-9 written all over it again

we're gonna figure out daboll real quick just by the ways he uses reggie bush...

I don't quite understand how you can look better on paper but then also have many other issues that haven't even been exposed yet. To each his own though, obviously.

My hope is that one year we as fans and as a team (Dolphins of course) will have HIGH expectations year in and year out vs. not really having a clue WTF is going to happen. To feel like Patriots fans have the last 10 years. Steelers, Ravens, Colts, and now Packers....it must be nice not to reaaaaaaaally have to worry too much.

We're Dolphin fans. These are tough times for the Dolphins. The ups and downs for years. Me personally, I'm tired of the roller coaster. I'll just see it as it is, and watch them from a safe distance. My expectations are VERY low right now for them. They have too many burdens. They've made too many mistakes over the years. That stuff adds up and weighs you down. I'm not rooting against them. I still want to see them win. But I'm not convinced that the players and staff we have right now are going to win and make Miami a contender to be proud of. We'll see what happens.

I've said 8 - 8 before. I think that is the best they can do this season. If Henne falls apart, I think they might still fight for 6 - 10.

I remember feeling that way in my youth, when Danny boy was at the helm. We were pretty much good year-in and year-out (at least I remember feeling confident every season that we'd be good), just never got over the hump in the playoffs.
 
I don't see bess getting 4 touchdowns this year.
Most of the balls throw at bess were short passing plays
Bess did convert a lot of them and help move the chains !
Im not mocking Bess he is an asset to the team
however bess has no business catching 70 balls in this offense
maybe 40 spread the rest to the burners like bush and clyde gates
Part of the vanilla offense is henne relying on bess to make 1st downs
and when they made it to the twenty they were stumped because
we didn't have enough long scoring quick striking plays..

Oh I dont know it all for sure, and Im not pessimistic Im realistic. I dont feel we have the coach or attitude to get the job done. I hope im wrong but I just think we will never get much better with this guy incharge. He seems to never make timley changes and doesnt adjust his gameplan well. Im not sure if it wasnt for the gimmick of the wildcat or the luck of signing Pennington that this guy would still have a job.
