Like many other Dolfans, my son and I stopped by Seau's for dinner last Saturday (night before the Chargers - Dolphins game). We had just missed a bunch of players stopping by, but we decided to stick around and eat dinner there. About an hour into dinner, Seau started walking around and doing pictures and signings. We stayed at our table and after about 35-40 more minutes, he eventually came over to our table and saw my boy and I eating, and noticed my son Codi has a "Seau" Miami shirt on. He introduced himself to my son (age 9) and shook his hand. You should have seen the look on my boys face when he heard Junior's voice and then turned around to see who was talking to him. I think he was expecting a Dolfan when he heard "Whats up little man" and then turned around and saw one of his favorite players!

I barely got the picture taken, it all happened so quickly, but it was a very special night for us. My son will never forget it!

Sweet:) How was the food?
Good Food! I had the Steak sandwich and Fries and my boy had the cheese pizza. I've eaten there now 3 times and all three meals were fine.

Bro it's all good, you are family. Next time we will meet each other in person, and be there at noon to meet the palyers,a nd get some more auto's. Junior was great people that night. I got to shake his hand, and get his autograph. He was very down to earth. I am glad he did that for your son, that is great!:)

I met Junior on a beach in Rochester 2 years ago. I still have the footage of him (purposely) losing a footrace to a 10 year old kid.

Thanks, I appreciate that Dolfan...

I really was bummed that my boy and I had just missed Ronnie Brown, Chris Chambers, and the defense by just minutes when we arrived, but Junior introducing himself to my son on his own initiative madethe trip more than worthwhile. Then to have such a great game on top of it was just a special trip. I enjoyed it so much i'm seriously considering pursuing coaching / teaching opportunities in So Flo so that we can get season tickets. My wife and I were talking about the keys or Stuart, Florida this past summer. The Hurricanes kind of put it on the back burner, plus i was offered a great job in So Cal.

I got there at 4:30 bro, and missed them by an hour. Next time. We k=now know they either stay at the Hyatt downtown, or the Marriott at Mission Valley. See ya next time bro. John

Hey Mike, It was nice to meet you and your son at the game. I'm still jealous at that whole Seau's restaurant story ::waiving fist in anger::: but I'll get over it. At least I got to meet Donnie Spragan's family. They were sitting right next to me during the game. Good times, good win, good weekend. Remind your son we need a good RT in the future! See ya next time.

 That's awesome. Junior is a great guy, in Canton before the hall of fame game I was trying to get an autograph, but my crappy pen kept dying out on me. With a crowd of people hoarding for autographs Junior patiently waited on my pen to get working and signed my hat. Not much, but I thought it was cool.
