First of all, I love ted ginn. I had his jersey on last night and I think he is a very good receiver. But what he is not, is a number 1 receiever. He is NOT a number 1 receiever, we all know this already. When we do get a number 1 receiver, he will truly emerge as an awesome number 2 guy. Yes that drop at the end of the game hurt, and he should of caught it but he still had a great game with 11 grabs for over 100 yards. He was burning his man all night, I really like what I saw from him.

So for all of you saying he is a bust, and this and that, he is simply not a number one receiver, but he is still a good receiver.

I agree with many of your comments, but he was drafted with the #9 pick. A WR drafted that high is a #1 WR or a bust - even if he's a good #2.

Similar situation with Ronnie - who I love. If he's not a consistently dominate RB, he's a bust - because of his draft position.

My problem with Ginn is Heart and Attitude! Those two things can't be coached and it doesn't appear he has it! Great receivers are constantly bothering the QB for the ball. I have never seen Ginn do this I have never seen him want to stand up and be the MAN! Even in practice he doesn't demand the ball! If he gets that attitude the rest will follow! Honestly his body language and attitude don't show confidence. So why should Penny or any of us for that matter have confidence in him?

go to nfl.com and watch the game of the week special versus the jets last year. Ted ginn got in chads face and said...KEEP GIVING ME THE BALL.

I could not disagree more. Its not teds fault he was drafted too high, if he is an effective number 2 then he is not a bust in my book.

and secnod of all, anyone who thinks ronnie is still a bust should just stop watchinfg football, its hopeless for you..

Camarillo, Bess, Hartline and Fasano combining for 9 catches and 64 yards had absolutely nothing to do with the Dolphins losing. Let's blame the only receiver that showed anything last night:crazy:

Then guys when we get a #1 receiver whats nexts we still have noodle arm at the helm.

I don't think you can keep him around to be a #2......not the #9 overall pick..

#2 receivers in this league are cheaper...

Ginn is the only receiver with any trade value on this team....and I can't see any way possible this staff retains him for the long haul....he just doesn't have the guts or toughness that I would expect them to look for in a receiver...

I'd ditch him for some draft picks and get a legitimate 6-3, 220 pound beast that runs a 4.4.....can catch the ball without a rain drop knocking him off his route....and dub him the #1 receiver...

Let guys like Bess, Hartline, etc....be the complimentary pieces...

I know that many believe that a top 10 pick is a bust if he does not become a star. That position obscures the meaning of a true bust. A player picked in the top 10 that is no longer in the NFL after three years. If you prefer clarity to wild exaggeration, then he is a disappointment.

Ok one game he needs to be that way every play games and practice. Did you happen to see Hardknocks? Ocho Cinco was in Palmers ear every down practice or games!

Give Ginn the desire and heart of Welker or Bess and he will be a #1 receiver, but instead he has neither with all the physical tools in the world. Him being a #9 pick overall is a bust.

completely disagree with you. When he didn't come down with the ball at the end he slammed his hands on the field and was visibily upset. He quickly got up because he knew he had to get back in the huddle for the next play.

Earlier in the game when the defender thought it was an incomplete ball, he looked real ****y and showed emotion, I loved it!

You can't say the kid doesn't have heart or attitude, ESPECIALLY since you don't even know him.

Ginn is going to be a solid player, what bugs me is that for some odd reason people think that players like Fitz, Owens, C. Johnson ect are easy to come by and let alone easy to draft. it takes time to grow into an offense and find your stride and stop thinking so much and just play football. When a player knows the offense and can then let thier god given talent work...thats when they make plays more often.
Ginn isnt going to be up in chad's face demanding the ball because...TS doesnt want a WR like that.

Get off Ginn's back.

remember he was brought in to be a kr, as wr he was raw, and is still is, because he was a corner before, i just wish bp was here during that draft i know he would have not picked ginn

I could not disagree more. 11 catches DO NOT
matter when you drop 2 touchdowns. 11 catches is awesome if you’re talking PPR fantasy football – but this is ACTUAL football where stats DO NOT ALWAYS MATTER. I get it: all receivers drop balls they should catch.
When will Ted Ginn make the big plays we expected him to make when we wasted a 1st round pick on someone who is a career #2 or #3 WR?
