First off, the penalties HAVE GOT TO STOP. We ended up with 18(?) penalties and five turnovers and still found ourselves in a position to win the game with under two minutes to play.

Ronnie's "fumble" was a horrible call by the officials. His knee was clearly down and I don't give a flying **** if that hack Randy Cross says otherwise.

McMichael's taunting call was overkill. I've seen T.O. and Deion Sanders do a lot more than that and not get flagged. Just goes to show that if you're a marketable commodity in the NFL, you don't see the yellow flags.

I'm not trying to make excuses for a sloppily played first half. Besides Tebucky Jones and Lance Schulters, our secondary can't tackle worth a damn.

THE GOOD:

1) Despite his "fumble", Ronnie Brown continues to get better every week.

2) Our front seven did an excellent job tackling and containing a
very good running back.

3) Despite 18 penalties and five turnovers, we were still in a position to win at the end of the game.

4) Tebucky Jones has silenced his critics with very solid play.

5) The deep passing game looked very good at moments today.

THE UGLY...

1) 18 penalties. Saban has got to read these guys the riot act.

2) All the encroachment and offsides penalties. The coaches should spend all week with practice QBs using different cadences to make our defensive linemen more disciplined.

2) Sloppy tackling by the DBs

3) Frerotte forcing the ball into coverage.

That being said, we're 2-2 and in 2nd place in the AFC East. We get Ricky back next week any nobody was seriously hurt. Once Nick gets his players in here, we'll be a true force.

dont forget our o-line once again played at least average until the last couple of plays

and overall i think the bills out played our def. for only a quarter, and our off. did an ok job against one of the more tougher def. in the nfl

I dont get it. It was clearly coming out before his knee hit. It was a fumble. And there was no conclusive evidence on the replay to overturn the call. :shakeno:

As soon as I saw Ronnie hurdle the first tackler and lunge to elude the second tackler I thought to myself "oh, oh, a fumble in the making." It just seems to happen when a guy lays it all out on the line to make something happen. And it did. But despite the fumble, Ronnie is a real gem.

Not it at all. And I'm not one of these homers that calls for pass interference on every incomplete pass. I'll give the other team credit if they derserve it, but in this case, Ronnie Brown had one knee down BEFORE the ball came out. Period.

You got to be kidding me, im the biggest Dolphin homer, and I knew it was a fumble before I saw a replay, the ball came loose before his knee hit. Stop blaming the refs for player mistakes.

Agreed. Ronnie gets better every week and he is going to be a special player. Does anyone know if he got to the century mark today? Late in the 4th they showed him having roguhly 106 total yards. By the end of the game, they showed he had roughly 97 yards rusing. Anyone know the truth> I hear it's out there...

Look man, We're both entitled to our own opinions. But I was at a bar with a 64" plasma screen and we watched it really close on every replay. That was a NOT a fumble.

And I'm not blaming the offiicials for our game costing penalties. All I ask for is for the refs not to make this harder on us than it already is.

It wasnt close enough to change the call. It was a fumble. No matter what kind of TV it was on.

Come on man, if you watched it on TV, you saw like 6 angles of the play. Brown definitely fumbled. That still doesnt take away the fact that he had a great game today. Besides, he was trying to make something happen in a close game and just got hit in the perfect spot, right on the ball. As a bills fan, i was very impressed with his hard running.

I appreciate your compliments about Brown, and your defense gave us fits today.

Right on (I will not take credit unless we deserve it)
The key as others have said is that the call was a fumble! There was not conclusive evidence to overturn that call.
