1. We will be just fine! We went into a very rowdy environment, and hung tough with the defending Super Bowl champs!

2. Culpepper had a hell of a game, IMO. He is played his first real game in like 9 months against a great defense. Troy Palomalo (sp) is a playmaker. He was all over the field all night, and that was was a great call from Pittsburgh to line up Porter like he was rushing, then drop in into coverage. Pepp plain out didn't see him until it was too late.

3. Wes Welker can flat out ball! I'm really glad we didn't cut this guy.

4. Chambers and Pepp weren't really on the same page. That'll happen with a new quarterback. They just need to adjust and we'll be fine. I did however think we should've taken more shots deep.

5. Why is eveyone hating on Ronnie Brown? I mean, he didn't put up amazing numbers or anything, but nobody will againg that Pittsburgh D. He had alot of great runs after contact which will make him stand out this year. Plus, he did a heck of a job on picking up blitzes.

6. McMichael had a quiet game, and took quite a hit too. Once again though, once he and Pepp get some chemistry together, they will be fine.

7. I personally don't think we have the right personel to run a 3-4 scheme. I say run a straight up 4-3 with Taylor, Truck, Big Daddy, and Carter in during run situations. I guarantee you that no one will run up the middle against that! As for passing situations, put Taylor, Holliday, Evans, and Bowens in there with Zgonina and Roth rotating. I think that that situation would work alot better than a 3-4 scheme.

8. Throw Jason Allen to the wolves! Let him prove that he has first round talent. He can't prove anything, or gain confidence by sitting on the sidelines.

9. This secondary has a very confusing task to learn. Once they do so, they will be fine. Plus, it will be bitter sweet when we get Daniels back.

10. I think we should've blitzed more than what we did to put pressure on Batch. More zone and overload blitzes would've been more successful IMO, then straight up the middle blitzes.

11. Get ready Buffalo!! Miami is hungry!!

:dolphins: GO PHINS!:dolphins:

Exactly man, people are to quick to throw players under a bus if they have 1 bad game its sad that our fans have to be like that but i guess you have that everywhere.

Go Phins:dolphins:

The problem is that after this game ,we will have to throw the entire team(without Welker) under the bus, even Saban because of the pu## throw of the red flag:sidelol: . It was just a bad game and we should be find. GO DOLPHINS!! :dolphins:

I dont understand why getting Daniels back is "bitter sweet"? I am gonna chilk this part up as a misuse of words. Otherwise, a well written piece. I agree with you for the most part after watching the game in person. When you say a very rowdy crowd, you are completely right. And I do have to say that the percentage of Steeler to Dolphin fans was about 95% to 5%.

Good read and some very good points. Another plus to me was the pass protection. I thought the o-line did a very good job of protecting Cpep. Run blocking left something to be desired but the Steelers probably have a top 3 defense. All in all I was pretty happy with the performance. The defense had a couple of bad plays and pep threw the bad pick to porter, I think we're fine and a legitamate playoff team.

GREAT POST MAN!!!

i also thought culpepper had an amazing game for his first game back. and if i was a buffalo bills fan, id be scared to see wat miami is gna do next week. :fire:

yeah, i dont know what i was thinking when i wrote bitter sweet

great post, i mean come on daunte to me was one of the stronger points of the dolphins against the steelers, he threw the ball very well, their were a couple of times when he threw low or missed his target, it happens when a guy has not thrown a real pass in a real game in 9 months

daunte is learning with new teammates, and a new coaching staff, as is the coaching staff learning the team

they will get the kinks worked out, how some of you guys are talking we were horrible

but to me i was happy how we played for the most part

I'd agree if it weren't for the amount of sacks Pittsburgh made.

By the way, your sig is broken and it really deserves to be fixed.
