Ive been a long time reader of this board and i love hearing what everyone says cause you never know what your going to get, but theres some things that i read that made me get an account and post this...
First off Chad Henne... i think the majority feel that he is the future qb of this team. I couldnt agree more with those people. Some of you expect peyton manning everytime hes out there. Hes going to make mistakes as hes essentially a rookie and im okay with that. He obviously has things to work on and he will get better with touch as he gets better talent around him and he doesnt always have to force throws in. Im not worried about him, after being thrown to the wolves unexpectedly hes responded great.
Ronnie Brown... This one bothers me the most. I understand hes not 22 anymore and that he will be wanting some money this year or next. He is the best player on the team not named Jake Long. He is such a big part of the offense and no one can deny that. We dont even have to run the wildcat for it to be effective. With him being on the team, opponents know its possible that we may run it and its something that they have to prepare for.
If we lose him, we lose our #1 weapon and its another hole to fill when its unnecessary. Ill be depressed if we lose him, he gives it all to this team when on the field.
Channing Crowder... This guy is not a game changer and some of you need to stop expecting him to get the game changing hits or interceptions. What your getting from him is solid play each week IMO. He is more than capable of being a starting linebacker on this team, we jus need someone else next to him. The best player in the titans game was channing crowder, if anyone saw his pass coverage that day then you know what im talking about. I dont need to bring up the pass coverage of the texans game by ayodele and torbor, it was pathetic. Channings not great, hes good and thats good enough for me as long as we get someone better next to him
Lastly i think this team needs Dez Bryant, this kid is explosive and is Desean Jackson but 6'2'', SIGN ME UP. I think it could really help ted ginn in getting pressure off him should he be on the team next year.
