My thoughts on the Bengals...

I think we actually match up pretty well with the Bengals. With a full week of practice for both Feeley and Gordon, I believe this is a game we should win.

I think this will be a close game. I think we can win as we can easily lose. Our O is as raw as theirs, if not moreso. Rudi is a more proven than Gordon, but that may just be because Gordon hasn't started a game yet.

Ultimately I think we outmatch them on D, which will make the winner of this game the O that makes the least mistakes.

With some bias of course, Miami 14, Cincinatti 10

ALSO

Thanks for the post J-E-T-S, what I appreciate even more is that you had a sound enough mind not to boast mindlessly about the Jets win today. I guess you can realize opening day don't mean too much in the is day in age of NFL parity. Nonetheless, Pennigton looked impressive and Martin earned my respect today, wow, and i thought he was on his last legs. I wont assume that anymore.

Now, back to normalcy, JETS SUCK! :D

Lets see, our D only gave up 10 points to the Titans but they will give up 34 to the Bengals???? OK, I guess. The Fins will struggle but only because they have so many new faces and a coach that doesn't adjust no other reason. This fins team has the potential to be very good on both sides of the ball they just need time. As for Miamis talent on O I think maybe you should do a little research before posting on another teams site Bengal boy. We have gotten younger and better that is a fact. Will it show this year thats the big question. My prediton 20-13 Miami.

Dont sleep on the Bengals offense, you might think the Jets secondary is god awful but it played alright. Palmer just made some deadly throws, pressure in his face all day and he never looked flustered.

The Dolphins secondary is way better than the Jets, but the Bengals have a potent O, dont sleep on that.

And a mediocre Offensive Fins team vs a mediocre Defensive Bengals team should be interesting to watch.

I have to agree with Icer a bit. Who knows what Palmer will do, but Chad Johnson is a WR capable of dominating any defensive back out there. He isn't top of the second tier if you ask me -- he is no worse than the worst receiver in the first tier made up of Moss, Harrison, Owens, and Johnson if you ask me. Yes, I do think he is better than Holt. I think he could have such a big year this year that he'll be considered the #1 guy as of next year. He is a beast who makes a guy like Peter Warrick look good just by playing opposite him. In a way, I think you could call him the Jason Taylor of wide receivers.

With that said, he is only one player. If the Dolphins can limit the damage to him, I think there is a chance for this to work out for team aqua and orange.

I agree with you about Chad Johnson, as I would rank him 5th in the league at this point, behind Moss, Owens, Harrison, and Holt.

You guys can rip on the Jets D if you want, but the run D was great. The secondary wasn't, but nor was it a complete disaster. Johnson had a 50 or so yard TD on a perfect throw by Palmer. It wasn't horrible coverage, but a perfect offensive play. The pressure was pretty good as well, so Palmer made some nice quick reads.

i thought this was finheaven site not jets or cinn site :shakeno:

look here miami if aj feeley would have started against tenn we would have beat them miami beat them selves and jay helped i watched the game and miami out played tenn just bad mistakes by jay :fire:

aj feeley and jordan will have a big day next week and miami will win the game

offensively they have many weapons but if we get pressure we should handle them and palmer just fine....and they are not good defensively so our offense with feeley ...big Mac...gordon with another week under belt should gel and move ball and put up points....lets face it if the jets can have their way we should as well...besides jets are soft...just couldnt resist

If you mean on Offense you couldn't be more wrong.

The Jets have one of the better QBs in the league, a RB who had a HUGE game, a great WR (Moss), a good WR (McCareins), and one of the best Olines in football.

Meanwhile the Dolphins dont know what they have at QB, RB, or Oline. The only given is that they have a great WR (Chambers), a good WR (Booker), and a good TE (McMichael).

Although I think the Dolphins will definetly do better than they did versus the Titans defense, it's not a given they can have there way with Cincy's mediocre D.
