First of all this is my first post and i can say ive been reading this site for a while, and its cool that im actually gonna post...
Ill start by saying that the dolphins SHOULD have won this game. the Jets did nothing special to deserve a win and at times pennington was down right awful. I think everyne here agrees our defense has really stepped it up, they were there all game except for that drive right after we scored where it seemed like our secondary broke down...
I hated the way Travis Daniels and reggie howard played, i thought they were two steps behind the rest of the defense the entire game. it was too often we'd stop them till third down, and one of these guys allowed a big play..that was a key to the jets scoring at all. Not to mention the horrible penealties we had and the lucky bounces the jets had on some fumbles. We once again stopped a team on 4th and goal and the defense was really solid overall. zi wish we could have seen more of the d line in penningtons face tho...
Offensively I thought Frerrote was solid. He had receivers making outrageous drops, in situations like 3rd down, and that just cant happen. I dont no if you guys agree but it seems the guy has some leadership qualaties we havn seen here in a while, they were times you could see frerrote talking with brown and others after mistakes. Randy played a great game, he had good hands all game and really hustled on that td...as for chambers im really dissapointed in that drop he had on third down, and that was big. I still think hed headed for a godo year tho. ronnie was decent, I am not as down on him as many of you are, he played a tough defense and our o line was pretty mediocre. i also think we should have aired it out to boston and booker a little more. I wonder why we wernt as agressive this game...
The Jets offense looked mediocre until the end of the game, our d had shut tem dwn enough for us to come back. Yet bad holdong calls, drops and bad o line play caused us this win...Im hopeful bc i saw some good things today, frerrote is our qb for sure, randy is looking great, brown will come along, our d was pretty solid....but im upset that we are still losing games like we were losing them last year...penalties and bad discipline
