AJ Feeley:
Feeley is still a rookie player. He never started a season and played the whole season, he still has a lot of learning to do. There are some positives with Feeley, He can have some great games, for instance the game against the Patriots last year. But their is one big problems i see with him. He is not consistent. He has one good game and the next game he dose horrible. He proved it when he had a great game against Tampa, then the next week he had a horrible game against the Falcons. He went 4 for 17. He did throw for 100 yards though, but the problem is 50 of those 100 yards were to the other team. Feeley throws a lot of interceptions and a lot of them happen to be return for a touchdown. His QB Rating this preseason was a 59.4. That is a horrible rating. If Feeley is named the Starting QB he will have a lot of work ahead of him. If he starts Miami will go 6-10.
Gus Frerotte:
Wasn’t Gus Frerotte the person who gave himself a concussion by running helmet-first into a wall? Anyway Frerotte has the experience. With Frerotte u know basically what you are getting, A 2000 yard season and doesn’t throw as much interceptions as Feely dose. He will basically have a 54 completion ratting. One thing that I seen in the preseason is that he gets sacked. He got sacked 5 times and lost 40 yards. If he starts Miami will go 8-8. He will have a decent year.
Sage Rosenfels:
He has not been given a fair chance. This is the Quarterback that I would start. You know how feeley is and you know how Frerotte plays but you do not know how Sage plays. What do u got to lose? You have a losing record? You are not going to the playoffs with AJ or Gus. So I think Miami should take a gamble and put Sage in. Miami is rebuilding. Sage might surprise everyone. I say give him a chance. If Miami starts sage the Dolphins might go 6-10 or they might go 8-8. But its worth a shot to take the chance.
Overall:
Miami needs to draft a QB in next years draft, The QB is the hardest to replace on a team, once your main QB leave its real hard to find a replacement, Its easier to draft a good RB or WR but its hard to draft a good QB.
