Well i'll start with the draft...I would have rather seen Mike Williams been drafted with the no. 2 pick, even though Saban would have taken Braylon Edwards before Williams if he had to take a WR in that spot. I thought it would have been a good deal if we traded the 2 spot for a disgruntled Sean Taylor in Washington...even though thats just a fantasy...I would make that deal in a heartbeat. But i guess we got a great athelete in Ronnie Brown and providing he doesnt get hurt, he should be (from what ive heard) like a ladanian tomlinson.
I guess i cant complain too much although like i said i would have rather drafted another position here and got a RB somewhere else like they did with kj harris...you know kj is an awesome runner. Ricky is also rumored to be returning so a different look at that 2 pick would have been nice i think but oh well wat can you do atleast we did get ronnie brown.

I love the 2nd round selection. I loved Pat Surtain. He was probably my favorite on the team next to Zachy Boy Thomas. Pat was a lockdown shutdown "SURTAIN" corner. Best in the league as far as im concerned...but gotta do what you gotta do. I couldnt have asked for a better pick with the pick we got for him...Matt Roth is gonna be a great player. He was on ALOT of boards as a first round pick. I wonder if he wasnt taken only a couple picks earlier if Corey Webster was going to be the draft choice here. I bet he was going to be. Hes been compared to Surtain plus its sabans boy...a good corner, but i'll take Roth its cool.

I dont like our safety position right now Tebucky is good.. If we didnt get him this offseason, forget about it 4-12 here we come again. I still dont like it. Theres no one on the other side of him. Tillman, whats he gonna do? and losing poole definitely doesnt help.. we have noone on the other side of madison either. Knight is gone and Surtain is gone. one side of our secondary is crap. But you cant get it all done in one year.

The front 7 looks good. i like the holliday and carter pickups, and like i said the Roth pick is great. Sprague is a good sized playable linebacker. Crowder must have off the wall potential for saban to take him with a high choice considering his injury report...i dont like taking banged up guys but if crowder can stay healthy he will make alot of teams that passed up on him mad they did...considering he too was a first round projection at one point. so i like the front seven moves made by saban.. i really like them. Not much running on us this year but we will get passed on i believe. And dont look for a great season here. I see another high pick in the draft coming up. Which as far as im concerned isnt a bad thing... its just a shame Seau might be gone and the same with Thomas and Taylor by the time things are turned around.

I'll say with the team we have right now...everyone stays healthy enough.. 5, 6, maybe 7 wins, maybe. closer to 5 though.
I like our team, i live in philly area so i know about Feeley, he will pan out. The eagles know how to take QB's thats why they wanted a 2 pick for him. Feeley will be ok, i hope ricky comes back. even though it wont be the ricky we all had come to know and for me really enjoy watching, its still ricky even if hes 25 pounds lighter. Chambers and Book are a good speed - posesion combo, and hey, we got ourselves a real good takle that i think everyone forgets about...stockar Mcdougle is Gooood! only got him for 2 years but its a start.

Thing are looking up.. i know everyone is still shellshocked from last season. I mean what a f#^&@ year huh? Ricky and 4-12 That was really tough. But change is here to stay and for this team maybe thats what we need. GO DOLPHINS!!

:shakeno: the children are up early, when they grow up they will know that if they have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all.

We've made lots of improvements (on both sides of the ball) while every other team in our division has taken a step back yet you only see our record improving by 1-2 games? Now I dont agree with most of the people on this borad who think that we're gonna win 11+ games but 8-8 or 9-7 sounds about right.

5 wins bro? more like 8-9

see that guy is a smart and realistic phin fan, hes right saying 5 wins, and then we get unrealistic dreamers like yourself saying 8-9 or even the ones saying 13... he was a good one, but then again he was only 14 so u have to give him some slack .....

I agree with most of what you said. Disagree with Williams and the number of wins but agree with Roth, Safety concerns and the front 7 looking good.

You know PD, if you honestly think Miami is only going to win 5 games this year then I will have to say I am going to have to rethink my opinion of you knowing your football.

Give me an F'in Break. You just got done saying in another thread that YOU think the Fins will win 8 games this season. So if YOU, an opposing, and I'm assuming subjective fan thinks 8 wins is possible that's realistic - but if a FinFan, understanding everything involved with his team believes 8 wins is possible he's a homeristic dreamer?

Did I get that right?
