Well, I drove from Key Largo today up to Davie...
I made it to practice about 20 minutes early and to my suprise the team was already out there doing offensive and defensive drills...
Chambers and Taylor weren't in pads today, but did do some running...Taylor worked with the D-linemen at one point...
Roth looks like a beast and you can definetly tell that he added muscle over the off-season...
Marcus Vick had a couple of dropped passes during the drills, and one during the 11-11 scrimmage...
Hagan made some VERY impressive catches, its seems that Culpepper is comfortable throwing to him, and because Chambers wasn't with the first team Hagan got more reps w. the first team...
Booker made a very nice TD catch on a flea flicker thrown by Culpepper...
Harrington scrambled on a couple of plays on the 7 on 7 drills, meaning he just couldn't find a reciever so he tried to run to the side which would buy time. In reality he probably would have just gotten sacked. Culpepper looked decent BUT he did throw a couple of interceptions.
What I was most impressed with was Hagan and his pass catching ability and the defenses job in closing the holes in running plays...
Oh, but I am not done!!! As I was about to leave I overheard someone talking about the Marlins game. It turns out the pitching match-up was Dontrelle Willis against Pedro Martinez...
Those big ole' HD screens looks phenominal, I can't wait to see football replays on them... Also the smaller screen that surrounds the entire stadium can make for some pretty cool effects. The sound inside there seemed like it improved too. Oh yeah, it was a great game, Cabrera had a 3 run triple to put the Marlins up in the bottom of the eighth.
So yeah, that was my day. Feel free to ask questions!
