Trade with Arizona (they want to trade down),A trade with Washington would enable someone else to still jump ahead of us and take our choice player. At 5 we should have a choice of Thomas or Quinn depending on how the draft plays out. If we could get that trade I believe either player would greatly improve the Fins. Granted picking any quarterback is a gamble, but we need an Ot and a QB.

Not a bad two cents, of course it would all depend on Mueller and companys opinion of Joe Thomas, and how they rate him versus Levi Brown etc etc etc.
There is really no need to consumate this deal until draft day.
But, if I accept the assumption that Joe Thomas is an elite prospect head and shoulders above all other LT's in this draft, it makes a lot of sense.

If Thomas is available, I guarantee you Arizona would take him instead of trading down.

I'm not sure Arizona is that interested in trading down, especially if Thomas is still available. They need O-line help even more than the Dolphins.
