My unbiast opinion on talent in the east..

I dont care... he is gunna have to prove himself to me every year from now on. plus... he is gunna have to carry an even LARGER load this year. And, their line got worse this offseason.

Nasty

I think Derrick Blaylock is an adequate backup, and the Jets got Coles back who is a huge improvement over Moss. I don't know when Martin is gonna slow down, but it seems every year people are expecting him to and it just does not happen. He's probably still the most underrated player in the league.

I totally agree.. Curtis Martin does it every year and still people think he is close to his death bed. We Dolphins would kill for R. Brown to turn into the next Martin who gives you 1000+ every year.

LoL. Feeley has Proven he makes stupid choices with the Ball. Losman has proven Nothing.

You draft a QB because of guys like Feeley. All these guys prove is that soon they will be replaced.

Not knowing isnt bad. I mean you guys place players who have done nothing ahead of players who have had success, except when it comes to AJ feeley.

I'm saying as of right now, if I had to win one game, before training camp, preseason, or any of that..i'll take the guy who has started 13 games over the guy who hasn't.

I'd still rather have Losman if we are talking about the whole season, or even for one game after training camp/preseason...

I wouldn't be happy about the choice, but it just makes sense.

as far as overall talent in the AFC East I say that all of the Teams are very talented, it's a tough call but I would rank them like this:

1. Buffalo - very talented defense and other then QB offense is well proven
2. NE - defense talented, extremely well coached, and a good balanced offense
3. Miami - very talented defense, unproven DBs, well talented WRs, unproven RBs, and a QB question
4. NYJ - defense is getting better, old RB, injury plagued QB, lack of depth at WR, and a good o-line

To put your team at #2 in coaching is what really showed me that this list was BS. How can you put a rookie head coach higher than 3 coaches who had winning seasons last year? homer.

It says coaching, not "head coach." Doh!

Preseason doesn't count and you play paper thin D's... Since potential counts for nothing you will have to wait until atleast game 4 to tell me Losman is better now.

Preseason counts for me...

If Losman has a solid training camp and plays well in preseason i'd give him the nod over Feeley. Wouldn't you?

I am just messing with you but potential counts for alot if you think your line is much better because Mike Williams has been ok, but he is a load of potential.

They are good assistants but...

Houck took three years to turn that line around in san diego.

Linehan had the 2nd best QB in the league, a solid O-line, and the best WR in the game surrounded by other very talented WR's, and played in a dome.

Actually... last years line in SD had 5 new starters... so it only took him 1 year...

I can't put much stock in the preseason, we have all seen crappy QB's tear it up then get smacked in the face week 1..

I would, sure. If Losman out performs Feeley in preseason i'd consider him the better QB for the time being. But until that happens Losman should be #4 in the AFCE.

Thats fine...I'll still take ours.

Clements is a solid OC, and Mularkey is a OC at heart. Linehan has been great, but until he proves his offense runs without the 2nd best QB, and the most dominant WR in the game, outside a dome, jury is out.

Our DC has been with the team 5 years, we've had the 2nd best D in the league for the last 2. You haven't even got a Dc, Saban is a DC at heart, but he is unproven in the NFL (he did well in clevland for a year, but that was like a decade ago)

Our head coaches have lots to prove, but mularkey gets the nod because he coached his team to a 9-7 record his rookie year, Saban has yet to hold a practice with pads.

Special Teams...April took our unit from one of the worst to the best.

I'm just going to state that the jets receivers diserve a little more respect here. Justin mcareins and lu.....L. Coles are going to be a pretty impressive Duo. I know coles has been a little average since he left New York, but he was pretty instrumental when he was in New York. I guess if you're assuming depth, but Cotchery and Carter are decent enough. I by no means care for the jets, but i think they're more solid there then they're getting credit for.
