My unbiast opinion on talent in the east..

Im sorry but Buffalo gets the QB nod over Miami...Holcombe is better than both our starting options.. as of right now.

Holcomb is no better than ferotte in my opinion. May a little younger.

Both have proven they can have really good games, and really bad games.

I wouldn't doubt that both teams might start off a little stronger if they were the starting QB's. Fortunatly, our schedule isn't horrible right from the get go, giving Losman a little time to get confortable. I don't remember what your first 4 games are...well...first three.

Ace special teamer/safety Chris Akins is back off the IR, not that our special teams were bad last year. I think I would still put Buffalos ahead of us. Our offensive line picked up Stocker McDougle and some depth and... Oh yeah, the best offensive line coach in the league, Hudson Houck. I cannot make a call on which O-line is better; I think I am going to be a homer on this one, OURS. Our linebackers are just fine and we drafted Channing Crowder to be Zachs understudy who will be causing alot of problems for you in the very near future. I am sure Bills fans and even some Dolphins fans will be on me for that, but with the exception of Spikes none of the Bills linebackers impress me that much

You think Buffalo's special teams is better than Miami, we were #1 in the leauge I dont know what more you could want.

We have a great offensive line coach in McNally, your offensive line was terrible last season and besided a new coach did not really do much to improve it.

This is a tough one.

Parrish hasn't done anything in the NFL yet and his size is going to hurt him. He's just not a big guy and he's clearly not as gifted as Santana Moss, who is inconsistent at best. He'd be a good ST player/returner, but I don't see him panning out as a strong WR.

From Bills Digest:

Electrifying. That's the one word University of Miami receivers coach Curtis Johnson chose to use as his word description of Roscoe Parrish. His head coach called Larry Coker called him "the most exciting player I've ever coached."....

And though (Santana) Moss had more impressive stats coming out of Miami, Johnson believes Parrish is the more gifted player.

"He's a little bit shiftier than Santana and has a little more explosion," said Johnson. "He's more of a natural catcher than Santana too. I think (the Bills) got a big time bargain when they got Roscoe."

And Parrish has backed up the talk with his walk in all the Bills minicamps so far. He has been the obvious rookie star and most Bills observers have already pencilled him in to #3...

Miami should be #1 in RB if you include Ricky Williams. Ricky was out for a year, but that doesnt mean he will be mediocore when he comes back. Alot of great players sit out a year because of injury, and lose alot of muscle, but return and are back to their probowl self. Example: Mark Fields. Too bad the cancer is with him again :(

All im saying is if Rickys mind is on football he should run like he did in 2002/2003.

If Ricky returns to his 2002 form, and throw in Ronnie Brown and Lamar Gordon... no doubt in mind whatsoever we would have the best core of Running Backs in the AFC East, IF NOT THE WHOLE NFL!

Of course he is not going to say "roscoe is a turd" but he doesnt have to say he is more gifted than Moss.

That's a pretty big assumption though. Does he even care about football or did he just realize that he wouldn't be able to pay the dolphins back their $8.6 million?

I won't get into the rankings, but I would also just like to say that I think the Bills coaching staff is pretty underrated. We have the only coaching staff that's coming back fully intact, and they were able to do a pretty good job in their first season together. During the Bills six game winning streak at the end of last season, they scored more points in that span of games then any Bills team in history, even those early 90's superbowl offenses that lead the league. And that was despite some pretty average play from Drew Bledsoe. I know the Jets finished ahead of the Bills and made the playoffs, but I'm a lot more impressed with the way our coaching staff was able to keep our team motivated and focused despite an 0-4 and 3-6 start, then with the Jets floudering finish after starting 5-0. A lot of people blow off Mularkey like he's a nobody, but he's probably has one of the more creative offensive minds in the game, and consistently had one of the best offenses in the league while with Pittsburgh. I also like the fact that he was a former player himself because it gives him a lot of credibility with his players and they all have a ton of respect for him. It's still early, but I really think he's going to make a name for himself in this league and surprise a lot of people.

Roscoe did get a lot of attention from a few national media outlets also for his show of skills during the minicamps. I know it's only minicamp, but he definitely made an impression on a lot of people, not just billsdigest.

again not going to bash Roscoe but let just say the smaller faster guys tend to look a little better with the pads off...

True, but everyone looks good with the pads off not just smaller players.
