My unbiast opinion on talent in the east..

A crap team?

Are you intentionally trying to look like an idiot.

I was going to type out a lengthy response but it really isn't worth it.

My Dolphin homers are really taking it to you eh Losman..:D:lol:

What kind of work you do Losman...

How come people keep saying Parrish we be your special teams guy, will Mcgee just stick to Kickoffs and Parrish return punts.??

You guys sound like kids arguing over whos dad is stronger.

Good players are good players. Why Rank them?

[MadLib]Obviously, im not going to bash you because this was just your opinion, but mine is a little different. Overall Buffalo has the most talent in skill positions, but a few weak areas made them a close second. My list goes as so.

QBs : 1 - NE 2 - NYJ - 3 - BUF 4 - MIA I would put Miami 3rd, experience vs none..
My list: 1. NE....2. NYJ...3. MIA...4.Buf

RBs : 1- BUF 2 - NYJ 3 - MIA 4 - NE
(all four off these teams could be ranked #1 at RBs if they were in another division)
Until he's dethron..talent wise my list goes:
1. NYJ..2. NE..consistency.3.Buf..soph, 4. Rookie, if Ricky comes back..#3

WR : 1 - BUF 2 - NE 3 - MIA 4 - NYJ OK
TE : 1 - MIA 2 - NE 3 - NYJ 4 - BUF OK
OL : 1 - NE 2 - NYJ 3 - BUF 4 - MIA OK
DL : 1 - NE 2 - NYJ 3 - MIA 4 - BUF OK
LB : 1 - BUF 2 - NE 3 - MIA 4 - NYJ OK
DB : 1 - BUF 2 - NE 3 - MIA 4 - NYJ OK
(I didnt realize how weak the AFCE's list of DBs have become compared to previous years)
ST : 1 - BUF 2 - NE 3 - MIA 4 - NYJ OK
COA : 1 - NE 2 - NYJ 3 - MIA 4 - BUF
(You can call it biased, I call it faith and the fact that Mularkey only has one year of HC under his belt. As good as Buffalo ended the season, i still felt they underachieved last year)
Until proven on the field, except for our OC and OL coach..it's
1 NE..2. NYJ..3.BUF...4. MIA

OVR : 1 - NE 2 - BUF 3 - MIA 4 - NYJ
1. NE 2. BUF...3. NYJ 4. MIA

i know this thread has gotten huge, but you guys are too fickle about this no experience thing... you can make PREDICTIONS (the key is pre.. your picking before it actually happens) on guys with no experience...

its like comparing alex smith to derek anderson, yes they are both rookies with no NFL experience, but who would you pick to be better? obviously smith...

you can pick losman over feeley because you can think he'll be better next year, that is the point of predictions...

so if htis thread is just about talent from last year, carry on... ifs its about how the talent will do next year, yes you can have losman ahead of feeley, and you can have the dolphin O-line over Buffalos..

How can you say that? You wouldn't trade Zt for Spikes RIGHT NOW?

Spikes not only makes way more game changing plays, but has like twice as many years left on his career.

Most DolFans are too stubborn to realize some of the facts and i as a dolfan will totally agree to the statement above. I would trade ZT for Takeo Spikes in a heart beat, the only thing that would stop me is the fact that most fin fans are so attached to ZT since he is like the heart of our defense. Since he is a player of such importance to our team it would hurt the fan population to see a pro bowler like Zach get traded away, however in reality Spikes is much more of a playmaker than Zach...and it hurts to mention this but i do recall the interception he had returned for a TD on us last season...but then again who didn't return a INT for a TD on us? Believe or not Zach Thomas as great as a player he is (and i love the guy to death)...but he can be replaced, it's kinda like the Bailey for Portis deal. Washington loses Bailey (supposively the best CB in the game) and they bring in Shaun Springs...and what do ya know? the defense is better than before. Spikes makes his presence felt on the field of course Zach does too maybe not as much, but who do you think a RB is more afraid of?

what makes Seau not good anymore? because he missed half the season last year and still record 57 tackles? being injured is part of getting old but when he plays he still just as good or better then the Bills LBs
Maybe the fins should've kept Marino 5 more years just because he broke all the records in the past and was a HOFer even before he retired :shakeno:

Don't go there..

this past year Thomas missed 3 games and still posted 145 tackles, is that what you call slowing down? if so then Fletcher and Spikes are both slowing down also
Nick, when you have a horrible Dt's like you guys did last year, your Lb's will have a lot of tackles. That doesn't mean those tackles were huge plays.

You have much to learn ;)

Financial services.

With Mcgee emerging as our starter, and clements our previous PR, I'm alot more comfortable with a small, shifty burner, than both our starting CB's (mostly for injury purposes, McGee and Clements are both good return men)

Thomas is a MLB too, they are going to get more tackles.

I think ZT is a great player, I've said it before. But I guess we have flethcer too, who fills our MLB/ZT role. Gets tackles. Zt is better, but Fletcher gets it done. Having spikes too is the bonus, and if we would actually use Posey to rush the passer he might make more plays.

Crowder has the potential, and physical attributes to be a Spikes type Playmaker. If he can avoid setbacks (on and off the feild)

no when you have horrible DTs that is when your LBs get blocked out of the play which Zach Thomas didn't get blocked out amazingly for his size. But we saw in the Jet game what having bad DTs does for a team. Without any DTs the Jets Center was free to block Zach Thomas all game long. I know football. Without DTs you can't stop the run because the guards can easily open up a whole by themselves and then the Center is free to block the MLB

Nick, you were counting the tackles. Any lb w/ bad DT's will have more tackles. Teams were running up the middle of your DL and into Zach. Of course he's gonna have lots of tackles. :shakeno:

let's see how good he does this year when our DTs are good, I think you would agree that Carter and Traylor are a good couple of DTs
