My unbiast opinion on talent in the east..

And your opinions are skewed I was shocked you put Miami where they belong at the RB position.

Face it, you don't know squat about the fins!! Yeah, it was the players, thats why they are still here and Wanny's gone!! I guess you'll say Chicago wasn't Wanny either!!

OK, you're right. Cause everyone knows that when a team isn't good they usually keep the coach, and cut all the players. Get real...


You don't think Saban would have cut a few more players if he could? You can't just cut people in the NFL, not without cap hits. Do you think you'ed have reggie howard on the team for 2 million? Or even madison for 7?

by "players" you must mean Wanny & Jay.

Psst. Reggie Howard for 3 million after his bonuses. :lol: Thanks WannySpielman.... although I still have faith in Reggie.... only for one more year though. :lol:

And the DL, and the RB's. Sorry there were injuries, and Ricky quit...but if they didn't happen wanny would still be your coach.

Now you've dismantled your once great secondary, lost Greenwood, Seau and ZT are a year older and coming off injuries, and you STILL haven't got a complete DL (Except JT)

I'm not saying that they aren't good players...but is madison still worth what he's making when you could have had some OL help, and still picked up a Law/Ambrose/Shulters/or Smoot?

Thank the LORD!!!!!!!! another year of Wanny and I might not have watched a single game this year.

No doubt you should be happy...Wanny was never a great coach IMO...but he won enough to warrent not firing him.

they are still here because Saban inherited them. He will eventually bring in the players he wants. He already brought in a few including a qb to compete for the starting job , a high priced rookie rb to name a few.

Well that goes without say for any new coaching staff however the nucleus of talent will remain with us. We won't get rid of any talent unless there is just no way they fit Sabans 3-4 style. We are deep at LB, why would Saban allow Seau to return if we weren't??? Obviously Saban thinks his leadership and talent warrant the return. 90% of what you Jill fan post is based on hate not knowledge!!! Good example:Losman7 thinks it was Wanny that got us to the playoffs, not the talent!!! Thats just plain stupid, it's the other way around. But because he hates the fins he's trying to justify his bias opinion about the fins talent by saying the reason the fins had success was Wanny. Gimme a break, stop posting here if this is going to be the logic!!

Part of that nucleus is gone. Surtain is one of them. I wouldn't be surprised if Saban got rid of Zach and Madison next year.

I say it was a little of both. The talent on your D that JJ and Wanny put together is what made you make playoffs.

If it was the talent that got you there, it was the talent that went 4-12. you can't have it both ways.
