I will admit it, I wanted Brady Quinn and was upset when we did not take him. However, I am not running down to training camp with a pitchfork in one hand and a torch in the other. I am, however, glad Ginn Jr. is a Fin. I believe he has potential to be an outstanding receiver in this league. BUT, when you are sitting at #9, I strongly believe that any team should take a sure thing. Ginn is a reach at #9. A big reach IMO. At least we got a great QB in John Beck in round 2. Hopefully Ginn will be amazing, but if not I will be a little upset because this was a very deep draft concerning WRs. Either way, I hope Ginn and Beck are GREAT in 07-08.
