Practice Squad
Here is what I saw in this game. I dont get to see many games because Im overseas right now but for some miracle AFN decided to air a phins game Im assuming because it was against the Patsies anyways lets began
Satele- He def is not our long term answer at C he's been decent but did anyone see him against Wilfork? Man Satele seemed to be doing everything possible lets put it this way picture Satele trying to push a school bus with the E brake on. Wilfork manhandle Satele and he is not the only Dline man to do it. He can def be a back up C and a starting RG.
Long- Nothing wrong with the playing of Long outstanding young fella!...the problem was when he got hurt. He was out for a drive or two and the line was not as efficient specially with that penalty Ndukafalksdjfl;adkfj whatever his name is got us mindless play. with taht said we NEED Long at all times very important to our team.
Ricky- Well Ricky is stil very valueble to this team he may not be the player he once was but through out the season he has made some key plays for this team.
Ginn- Still very raw fella. Dropping passes like they are going out of style but made some good catches too. He def needs to work on his kick returns as far as making decisions that dancing around and running backwards? thats a no go Im sure Tony is gona chat with him tmorrow.
Camarillo- Well he is honoring his contract guy comes out and plays day in day I hope the injury he suffered is not season ending but something tells me is something along those lines.
Pennington- Our feild general made one mistake today but other than that he was outstanding.
overall our offense came to play they showed that they can hang with a tough team like the patsies. I believe we only have little adjustments to do in the offense that will be taken care of in the offseason. Oh yeah almost forgot one more person Bess he was outstanding today the guy can catch get hit and still hold on to the ball great hands.
Now for our defense Im not breaking it down by players because I dont feel the need. None of our players did anything special to be outlined. Our defense was horrible today. Our pass rush was no where to be found. our secondary got torched for the most part. sammy morris was running all over the place as he pleased. Also what happend in that last rushing td my morris ummm where the hell was MLB? overall very very bad playing from our defense. on a very minuscule side note joey is sitting now at 14.5 sacks good job joey that put a smile on my face when i saw that.
Special Teams- Well what can i say for the first time I saw the ST play and they seemed decent they played ok didnt let anything big develope. good job getting better.
IMO we are moving in the right direction. O needs just a little tweaking. If Ginn can up his game we will be good at WR next year. Bess is showing that he belongs in our line up, as for Cam(83) he is the man I hope he's allright we know he has the heart the hands to play. D Line needs some tweaking too, CC was playing well today but he def needs help at MLB he cant do all by himself.Secondary well enough said you guys saw it. Will Allen, Bell can stay Jason Allen has 5 games to step it up if not the boot Goodman he as 50/50 so i dont know about him.ST looking better but then again its only one game.
