Ok, it isn't really a wish list, but I couldn't think of a title.

What I think our needs are (in order):
1. ILB Filled
2. FS Filled
3. WR Filled
4. OLB Filled
5. HB Filled
6. TE Filled

People underrate our OLB core. It isn't good, but JT and Wake or Porter can hold up well.
TE is hardly a need. I would get Jimmy Graham in the later rounds but not use a high pick.

Ok:

Trade:
Ronnie Brown to chargers because L.T. wants out for their 1st round.

FA:
Antrel Rolle
Casey Hampton
Karlos Dansby

Draft:
1st round 1.12: C.J. Spiller
1st round 1.28: Golden Tate
2nd round: Sergio Kindle
3rd round: Micah Johnson
4th round: Jimmy Graham

Now this is unlikely to happen but, you never know!

If we had 12 and 28 id take Rolondo Mclain and Brandon Graham or terrance cody, cody might actually be there for our second pick. I think Casey Hampton is going to be franchised probally, but maybe we can get abrayo franklin from the 49ers. Trade for Anquan Boldin. Antrel Rolle is a possibility but maybe we could save the money if chris clemons is good enough to be the starter. and in all reality, we will probally end up keeping ronnie brown for a one year tender. hes not that dynamic back that can take it to the house every time, but hes actually a pretty good running back with good power and balance. he runs north and south and is a hard runner. I think we should look at martellus bennet or tony scheffler at tight end too.

He probably won't be there and we would already have dansby and crowder, while at HB we would only have williams.
 
I don't think we can get a 1st for Ronnie. I'm thinking we can get high-3rd to mid-2nd for him.

But, I like your pickups - hope they're doable.

And, I love C. J. Spiller.

After that, I'm losing you.

I have a 3rd RD grade on Tate and Kindle. Micah Johnson in the 3rd is fine with me.
 
No matter how much i don't want to trade Ronnie a first round pick would be impossible to refuse. But i don't see it happening.

Well, I don't know all the OLB's and how good they are, I just picked one that I thought would be available.

And IMO, Tate is the best WR in the draft not named bryant, the only knock I have on him is he is 5-11.
 
Draft Rolando, sign Karlos from AZ and trade Crowders a$$ with Porters while ur at it so they can go talk shyte together in some other town!...lol

I wouldnt touch any of the WR's this year...wait til next year..theres some good ones coming out in 2011.

I disagree about TE not being a need. I'd put TE right up there with WR. Look around the league and tell me what the best passing offenses have in common. A legit TE would do wonders for this offense, our WR's caught what a total of like 5 td passes this year? A good TE would be a huge asset in the red zone and a guy like Gresham would cause all kinds of mismatches and likely contribute more early on than a WR would. Defense is our biggest need but we'll eventually need a real TE who shows up more than once a month.

I don't think any of the top NTs are gonna get away. Wilfork, Hampton, Franklin & Pickett will all be franchised or signed long term.

We're going to have to draft our own NT and I think we'd be lucky as hell to get Mt. Cody in round 2 but I'm almost afraid to say it b/c most Dolfans/Draftniks hate him.

I know Cody looks like Aunt Jemima but he plays just like Pat Williams/Gilbert Brown. He showed some "twinkle toes" on one spin move in particular at the Senior Bowl. Besides, with the weight clauses commonly put on contracts by the Trio, we could probably save a lot of money on Cody's contract via deductions/fines for being overweight.

We cant justify spending 2 high picks on O. I dont think we go O in anything that isnt 12. I doubt we will go O at 12 to fill our need, it just so happens that 2 of THE best playmakers in the draft may have a shot at falling to us-Dez and CJ. If either of them do it would be pretty hard to pass them up, and a pretty easy decision to pick one if McClain is gone.

I agree! I hope they have CJ ahead of Dez on their board! I want CJ and hope they trade for Boldin! Unless McClain is still there at 12. Then he should be the pick! McClain, CJ, Dez in that order!

1st round 1.28 Graham/Weatherspoon
2nd round: Tate/LaFell/Damian Williams/Benn (in that order)
3rd: MJ
4th: Jimmy Graham

hmm i wouldnt be completely upset but if i were in the FO (which im not :rolleyes:) if i took spiller first i would take D through the rest of the draft with the possibility of TE Graham or in later rounds TE Quarless.

and the more i read on Weatherspoon the more i dont like him in our defense.. he could be a very good player in a 4-3 scheme but could be a question mark on a 3-4 team without a solid D-Line.,.maybe replace him someone in a later pick like Daryl Washington/Kindle pending the combine.
