Horrible on the road/good at home, sign of a young team.

When we get the ball first, we score and win games, both games have been at home though.

Defense can't stop the pass, this is killing us exsp the 1st half of games. I miss Surtain.

Offense- Penalties are killing us (duh). Linehans Offense...I like it! Gus can not hit the deep ball, I am tired of the excuse of getting timing with the receivers. In accurate is inaccurate period. With the receivers we have, we should be blowing people up. 5 games into the season, I think it is time to try Sage or AJ. It can't be worse than slowly watching your O die.

Special teams....solid. Welker broke out from small slump to have descent returns. I think Wes is better at punts, then kick offs. I wouldn't mind giving someone else a chance on kick offs.

Mathimatically, we are still in the mix in the AFC east, but our schedule is tough. I think we make a QB change now to see what AJ or SAge can do in the new Offese. With Gus, I don't see us better than 8 and 8....Our defense is good, but not dominant. Gus would need a dominant D for us to do anything in the playoffs, ala Dilfer with Baltimore. Time to move on and see what the young bucks can do at QB.

I see more wind sprints in the future :D

I have to agree with at least part of your post. Gus has great arm strength, maybe as good as almost anyone in the league, but his inaccuracy and inability to hit an open man are killing this offense. The O-Line is capable of decent play, and may improve with good coaching. Our backs and receivers are more than adequate. After 5 games, IMO, Gus has shown himself to be an unacceptable option at the QB position. We need to try someone else.

Gus needs at least one more game.. If his crappy play continues, its time to pull a reverse Mularkey and see if the other guys can spark this offense.

Gus played OK IMO. He was the victim of a lot of dropped catches, and he managed to not throw a pick all game. Also, DMac must have something against Gus, because he looked like he wasn't even TRYING to block his man.
