Chip tried to trade Kendricks for 2nd-rd pick
Per RW, I'd offer a 4th!!

Brandon Marshall and a 7th round pick got the Bears a 5th rounder. Zac Stacy got the Rams a 7th rounder. Mike Wallace and a 7th rounder got us a 5th rounder. Chip Kelly is smoking crack.

a 2nd rounder?

haha I'd give him Dion and a 5th and call it a day

Lol....Eagles and their 2nd round pick demands. That is always their asking price for any player.

How many Mychal Kendrick threads are there? LOL. Go with what we have.

Chip might be out of a job after this season.

This is the NFL, not college, you can't treat professionals this way, and not expect any backlash.

Chip is too use to getting whatever Chip wants. He didn't get all the extra picks for the guys he's trying to cast off. He didn't get the trade he wanted to get Mariota. Now he's either going to have to humble-up and take whatever he can get for those guys, or he's just going to really take it in the shorts next year, lose those players and have nothing to show for it. Offer him Jordan and a 7th and tell him it's off the table in 24 hrs and he can let him go free agent next year and we'll get him anyway.

agreed with JC.... I'd rather bring in Mathis for a few years and start him at OG.. .develop douglas behind him!!!

I'm thinking that if any team was going to trade for Mathis, it would have been done. Same with Kendricks for a 2nd rounder.

I would assume they are still available but with the valuation of the draft pick bumped down a notch.

Meaning:

2nd in 2015 draft = 3rd in 2016 and so on. Similar to how teams would trade a 1st next year to get into the 2nd this year.

Either we trade a player or no deal. I'm guessing the team wants all of next year's picks in case they need to lure a new coach.

The problem of course for any team looking to trade for Kendricks (and I'd like for us to be in that discussion) is that he is in the final year of his contract. Whomever signs him must be able to negotiate a structure such that he gets a modest signing bonus now and then a larger roster bonus at the start of next year, if he proves to pan out. A 5th and the (largely worthless) rights to Jordan seems fair - but I wouldn't be opposed to a 4th. The scouting reports this year all made note of the fact the younger Kendricks brother is nowhere near the athletic specimen of his veteran older brother. Unless the coaching staff disagrees, Mychal Kendricks would be a nice upgrade at MLB.
