N "if" L: What if Fins signed Brees

I'm so sick of this Brees ****. Yeah, we missed out. Get over it. 30 other teams did too in 2001. EVERYBODY passed on Tom Brady, atleast 5 times. We passed on Darrelle Revis and Patrick Willis for Ted Ginn. There's alot of "if's' in the NFL, the "N if L" should have a new episode every hour. By the way, that's a cute name for a show, I wonder if his 1st grader came up with it

What if I told you the dolphins made the right choice at the time?! I don't blame the fins for not picking a QB with a messed up throwing shoulder at the time...

im over it. i really dont like brees. there is something about him that rubs me the wrong way

but realistically how many teams would have signed a guy coming off a shoulder injury? brees wouldnt be where he is today if he would have came here imo. best place for him was to be with sean peyton

Saints system is built for a guy like Brees.

Brees would have been eaten alive here in Miami. We don't have, nor have we had, the kind of receivers and tight ends that have allowed Brees so much success.

im with this guy. I use to like brees in san diego but as soon as he went to a good team you can see the guy became a different person. Saints cant even get a deal done with the guy because his ego has gotten so big, i dont want this guy in a dolphin uni never, we have our qb, tannenhill. We dont need some overrated dome stat padder. What have the saints done since they won a superbowl with brees? NOTHING, they havent won a playoff game since there superbowl run where they got lucky and also supposely cheated with bountys. Tannehill is our qb, move on.

Forbget Brees, that ship has sailed. Ryan Tannehill is the fututre of the franchise.

The important point to take away from the Drew Brees experience is that the quarterback is the most important position in professional sports, if we don't have a franchise quarterback......finding one and using high draft picks for them is essential. This franchise waited 29 years to use a number one pick on this most important of positions....and it paid the price over the last 12 years.

The drafting of Tannehill was the end of this stupidity. Even if he doesn't pan out we at least took a shot at greatness, and we should continue looking for the next great Dolphin QB.

I believe Tannehill will be great.

Two gapp

Im telling you Matt Moe is better than yall think. Matt Moore is Drew Brees, Its going to be just like when Rivers was there.

Parcells, Ireland and Sparano would have never landed in Miami. That thought doubles the pain of missing out on him.

Agree. No one knew at the time if he (Brees) would ever play at a high level again. Then you had Culpepper. Big, strong, great arm coming off a knee injury. Now who would you have taken? The bad throwing shoulder that may never be the same? Or a bad knee? It was the easy choice. I take the knee over the throwing shoulder every single time. Of course I would have been wrong. But at that time it was the safest choice. Besides, Brees himself said he did not want to play in Miami.

Not sure if Moore is Brees, but he is much better than he is given credit for. I think he is the best thing to happen to the Dolphins since Marino. That would be as far as quarterbacks.
